Well...I'm not going to lie, I don't feel quite ready for the Christmas chat JUST yet but we have been asked a couple of Crimbo related questions so here is some information for you to plot into your planner!😁

🎄17th Nov - Wreath Making Workshop with Flowers in Focus by Kay Haspell - Spaces for this will be limited but we are incredibly excited to have the lovely Kay come to the centre and help us make some festive wreaths! This will be an evening event but the time is still to be confirmed. We will confirm when we know more.

🎄Opening times - We will be closing for two weeks over Christmas this year Wednesday 23rd December 2026 - Wednesday 6th Jan 2026. Due to us closing midweek will be OPEN on MONDAY 21st December as well as Tuesday 22nd December to make sure we see as many of you as possible before the break.

🎄Christmas Lunch - Following the success of last year's "Christmas Lunch Week" we are hoping to reprise that this year! We loved having such a festive feel in the centre and enjoyed sharing sausage rolls and Shloer with you all! 😁All going well we will announce a date for this next month

🎄Christmas Raffle - As always we will be running our Christmas Raffle this year and we will be accepting donation for his now with tickets going on sale later in the month/beginning of next month.

🔥🎃Halloween Fire Walk🎃 🔥

We have been given a very last minute shout to gather people who would like to "Step Into Their Power" and take part in a fire walk on Saturday 31st October!
This will be a joint venture with some other local charities and we are very grateful to be given an opportunity to join. Entries cost £20 and include a full safety and motivational briefing before the event followed by the fire walk itself. This will prepare you for a challenge of a liftetime of walking over 20 feet of embers burning at 1200°F.

This could be YOUR chance to tick of a bucket list item and support a small local charity at the same time. Bring your friends to cheer you on and leave feeling that massive sense of achievement!

An update to our cancellation policy 💙

We have reduced our cancellation notice period back to 24 hours.

We know that life does not always go to plan. Circumstances can change quickly, particularly when you are managing your health, caring responsibilities or simply navigating everyday life.

For a period, an extended cancellation timeframe was necessary to help us manage appointments and make the best use of our available capacity. Having reviewed this, we feel that returning to 24 hours’ notice offers a fairer balance for everyone.

We hope this change makes it a little easier to plan your appointments and helps you to book with confidence, knowing that there is more flexibility should your circumstances change.

As always, we simply ask that you let us know as soon as you can if you are unable to attend. This helps us offer appointments to others in our community who may be waiting for support.

Thank you for your understanding, your consideration for one another and, most importantly, thank you for your trust in The Oxygen Works. 💙
