It breaks my heart to see areas of my home town so unloved and disrespected but rather than just moan about it, blaming others and expecting someone else to fix it I’m rolling up my sleeves and showing that civic pride lives on… and the best thing is I’m not doing it alone. 💚🗑️🚯

They say you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

And I’ve been thinking…

A town centre might not necessarily be the heart of a town… but it is the face of it.

It’s often the first thing visitors see.

The first thing commuters see.

The first thing potential businesses see.

And, sometimes, we don’t show ourselves in the best light.

But imagine if we did.

So perhaps we should be asking ourselves…

What impression are we giving people?

And more importantly…

What impression do we WANT to give them?

Because I don’t think the answer is simply complaining about what’s wrong.

I think it’s deciding what we want our town to become… and doing something about it. 💚🚯🗑️🌍
