Last night we gathered for the final time before the season turns. Candlelight, timber beams, singing bowls and the voice of the human soul and monochord.

The gentle unravelling and resolve to loosen the grip. To let it come.

May it grant us the privilege of being witness to the stars.

Landguard Fort has sold out and I’m looking forward to sharing this special evening with those who felt called. 🌙

Some places seem to hold onto sound long after it has faded…

On Sunday 9th August I’ll be bringing a special evening of voice, drone and calming instruments to the extraordinary spaces of Landguard Fort in Felixstowe, Suffolk. 🌙

Honoured by this invitation, our time together offers a moment of gentle rest, immersed in silence, sound and the spirit of this historic site.

50% of proceeds will go towards the upkeep of Landguard Fort.

This is an unheated site with stairs. Mats are provided but feel free to add your own for comfort and bring warm clothing, a blanket (sleeping bags are great) and a pillow.

Spaces are limited and bookings are made through the Landguard website. Link in bio.

A beautiful evening safe from the heat of the day. We took a breath and settled into the silence, gently met and held by the gentle drum, gong and voice over the crystal bowls.

A most beautiful group of woman, meeting you all was the highlight.

I don’t see these sessions as an escape from being human. I see them as a way of meeting our humanity with a little more gentleness.

I believe that when we are offered enough gentleness and enough space, something within us begins to soften. Emotions move. Perspectives shift. We remember how to breathe a little more deeply.

Carefully curated sessions like these can support that.

I’ve watched people arrive carrying heaviness and leave feeling lighter. I’ve witnessed tears emerge and heard tales of dream like visions. I’ve also had people simply enjoy an hour of peacefulness, without being needed by anyone else.

What unfolds is our own, and I hold the beauty of that with reverence. ✨🌙

I sing not to perform, but to be held in a liminal place. A universal language of soul.

In my sound journeys, I have started to gently layer vocals in live looping improvisations. Often mistaken for recordings, I wanted to share a little taste of this, recorded in real time. Starting with a single vocal, I begin to lose myself in the journey and it’s an honour to share these moments together in the spaces I hold, as an offering of reverence for the beauty of being.

This 90 second clip of the improvisation turned out to be 15 minutes long! Perhaps I’ll share the whole journey for you on here sometime.

In any case, enjoy the super high vocal at the end. 🤗
