I've been really leaning into this idea of reconnecting with things that matter to me and returning to self. I find that during term time I'm so intensely invested in teaching that I lose myself to the job. It's only during these quiet periods when I get a break that I really get to listen to what my body needs and reconnect with things that matter to me.

It's like I live a dual life - teacher me and actual me.

So now, I get to Return to myself, to the me that reads books, notices bees dancing across flowerheads, who sits amongst the trees and listens, the me who lives within this body rather than exists.

I often wonder if other people feel like this? And has it always been this way? I think it's why I often seek solitude and why the things that I do to look after myself are quiet and contemplative practices like yoga and reiki.

Morning lovelies,

I've been a bit quiet lately, lots of thinking and reflecting, a little bit of plotting and planning, and some well deserved rest! 😁

Just a quick update on things, the Zen Den will be back in action from September after a bit of TLC, and I literally can't wait to welcome you back into my cozy little treatment room!

I've opened up my bookings page again (follow the link in my page or go to my Google business account) and added in some extra daytime slots on a Thursday and a Friday, which I'm really excited about!

In the meantime, I'm still offering treatments but will be based at Suffolk Yoga, so please message if you'd like to book a slot.

The beautiful juliafairbrother has offered me the use of the reiki room Suffolk Yoga whilst the Zen Den is out of action💕💕.

Hello lovelies, just a quick update that I'll be closed for bookings for the next 4 - 6 weeks as we have some work done on the house. I can still offer distance reiki however, so do get in touch if this is something you'd be interested in. ###

I often have a little friend for my morning meditation, I think she likes the stillness and the quiet... just me, her and the birds outside.

Such a beautiful way to start the morning, just ten minutes or so to settle, reconnect and set my intention for the day, it totally changes how I go into the day.

You find me in a reflective mood once more... reflecting on Held and Whole and my reiki and what it means for me.

Stepping into this reset or 'rebrand' has really allowed me the space to slow down and find myself again, step away from all the noise and remind myself what it means to be me.

I love the way that my reiki work really embodies that, how tapping into this energy feels like a gentle hug, a warm cocoon of love surrounding me, holding me and allowing me to slowly heal from the inside out.

I know no one has time, I know everyone is busy and there's always a million things to do, but I can't emphasise enough what a difference this slow, gentle practice has made to my health and wellbeing.
