☀️ What a scorcher of a World Cup party at Healthcare Homes Foxgrove and Maynell House Residential Homes FELIXSTOWE this afternoon! 🇬🇧⚽

Our legendary trainer turned the afternoon into a full-on FitWord spectacular – part brain workout, part body blast, with written and visual clues and enough football banter to keep everyone grinning. We even had a World Cup anthem playlist that kicked off in absolute style with Right Said Fred “Stand Up for the Champions.” Nothing says “we’re taking this seriously” like a bit of cheeky Fred energy!.

The sun was blazing and the humidity was real, so we wisely parked the cardio and went heavy on strength, mobility and flexibility instead. Basically, we trained like smart athletes who also enjoy not melting.

We debated the three nations’ mascots (some very strong opinions were shared), answered proper historical World Cup trivia, and kept the vibes high right until afternoon tea arrived like the true MVP of the day.

Laughter, movement, music, cake… and not a single yellow card in sight.

Days like this remind us why we love what we do. Feeling grateful, energised, and already looking forward to the next one! 💪❤️

🧩💪 FitWord at Chiswick House = Spontaneity, Core & Jacket Potatoes!. 😂

Our trainers turned up today for the most incredible (and brilliant) workout ever: a live, giant interactive crossword where you don’t just shout answers… you earn them with weighted bag throws, resistance band pulls and sensory ball juggling!.

It’s the only crossword where solving “a type of dance (9 letters)” might involve actual dancing… and your abs screaming for mercy.
The residents absolutely smashed it — vocabulary recall on point, problem-solving sharp, and core strength?. Suddenly elite athlete levels. We saw more mobility, stability, flexibility, and uncontrollable laughter than we’ve had in ages. There was even singing. Proper singing. Not “quiet polite humming” — full-on concert vibes
And just when we thought it couldn’t get better… the jacket potato lunch arrived like a hero in a carb-filled cape.

Mental workout. Physical workout. Emotional workout (from laughing so hard). All sorted in one morning.

Who knew crossing words could be this good for crossing fitness goals?.

What a morning at Maitland House!⚽😂

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup kicking off today, we went full theme for FitWord. The residents didn’t just turn up — they turned up in costume!. Our trainer arrived in full football kit looking like he was about to take a penalty, while the rest of us brought the atmosphere. There was singing, laughing, and more energy than the opening ceremony.

The visual clues were brilliant: Trionda the official ball, the mascots from the three host countries, and of course the legend himself — Pickles, the dog who found the stolen 1966 World Cup. (Pickles got more screen time than some players, and rightly so.)

We gave it everything… then blew the final whistle and sat down to an absolutely banging beef casserole for “full time.”

Honestly, if fitness sessions were football matches, we just played like Brazil in ’70. Absolute scenes.

Who else is feeling the World Cup buzz? Come on England (and whoever else is playing)! 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

🌞 What an amazing session at Sunrise Nursing Home !.

Despite the heat, our trainer was met with such fantastic energy from the residents!. The afternoon was full of laughter, fun, and pure joy as everyone got stuck into FitBingo – hunting those numbers like pros while staying happily hydrated.

The smiles, the cheers, and the brilliant atmosphere made it a real highlight!. The residents absolutely loved it and are already looking forward to the next one.

🌞 A beautiful sunny afternoon at the mill The Mill House - Runwood Homes Senior Living – summer has officially arrived!.

Our trainer had the absolute pleasure of delivering a vibrant FitBingo session packed with cognitive and physical exercises. The room was full of energy, laughter, and music, with residents singing along, working on strength and cardio, and enjoying the fun bingo number hunt.

The residents and carers were so welcoming and gave lovely compliments – it made the session extra special. Our trainer thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone and being part of such a positive, lively atmosphere.

We’re already looking forward to our next visit! ❤️

🚀 What an absolute blast at Corton House Care Home today!.

Our trainer received the warmest welcome and had the best time meeting the fantastic residents, amazing staff, and the brilliant team from Healthwatch Norfolk!.

FitBingo was on FIRE with a fantastic turnout!. The room was full of laughter, energy, and pure joy as everyone powered through the cognitive and physical fun!.💪😄 Everyone kept saying how energetic and engaging the session was – zero boring bits allowed!.

We had the BEST time and can’t wait to come back and see all our wonderful new friends very soon! 🎉❤️
