We can provide services to clients aged 18 upwards, including those in older age, clients with learning disabilities or with mental health needs. We provide a personalised service which takes clients’ wishes needs and choices into account as well as
encouraging clients to remain as independent as they are able. All profits the Agency makes are donated to the Hospice to further its work to improve
life for people living with a progressive illness. We Can Help With:
Personal Care - Things like bathing, washing, getting dressed, using the toilet, taking medication. Practical support - Things like housework, shopping, making meals, collecting prescriptions, helping with post, making telephone calls, paying bills. Other support - Supporting clients with physical, learning or mental health needs. Encouraging clients to lead as full a life as possible by providing personal care and practical help, coupled with emotional support and companionship. Family carer support - Providing a service that enables the usual day-to-day carers at home to have a well-earned break, this includes supporting clients with dementia conditions. Out and about support - Providing a Home Carer to help clients get out and about in the local community to access shops, attend appointments, and to enjoy leisure or other social opportunities. The Registered Manager is supported by a team of office based staff and the Agency employs Home Carers who have the right
values skills and attitude towards their work. They have also previously worked in care settings and gained professional qualifications and care work experience. Our service is designed to be provided at the times our clients want and need it. We recognise the importance of time well spent with clients, and our shortest visit is 30 minutes. Visits can be arranged for as long as necessary and we agree this with individual clients. We can provide visits during the day, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. We can also consider requests for sleeping-in, and for short periods of respite and live-in care. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of registered local charity St Elizabeth Hospice.
