As the weather warms up β€” and looks set to stay that way β€” it’s important to know how to recognise the early signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Staying informed helps keep you and those around you safe during hotter days.

βœ… What does Qualsafe accredited actually mean for you?

When you see "Qualsafe accredited" on a first aid course, it means your certificate is recognised, regulated and accepted everywhere β€” including the NHS, all UK employers, and EYFS inspectors.

Qualsafe is the UK's largest dedicated awarding organisation for first aid qualifications. They were voted Best Business SME at the Great British Business Awards in 2018. Their certificates are fully Ofqual regulated, which means they sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) β€” the same framework as GCSEs and A Levels.

EAS Medical Training is a Qualsafe Registered Centre (No: 0907021). Every certificate we issue carries that weight.

Whether it's Emergency First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid or FREC3 β€” when you train with us, your qualification means something.

🧠 A question we get asked a lot: "Do I need Paediatric First Aid if I already have EFAW?"

If you work with children β€” yes. But the smart move is to take both in a single day.

Our Combined EFAW & Emergency Paediatric First Aid course gives you two full, Ofqual-regulated certificates in one intensive session. Adult and child/infant emergencies covered. EYFS compliant. Better value than two separate courses.

⭐ Combined EFAW & EPFA β€” 1 day | Β£149pp (exc. VAT)
⭐ Combined FAW & PFA β€” 3 days | Β£299pp (exc. VAT)

Save time, money and a day away from work.

πŸ“ Ipswich | Qualsafe accredited | Accepted by all employers

Today we had the pleasure of visiting Leiston Primary School EAST for their Careers Week, giving students a hands‑on look at what it’s like to work as an event medic.

From learning how to call 999 confidently to practising lifesaving chest compressions, the pupils threw themselves into the session and asked some amazing questions.

Inspiring the next generation and giving them skills that could one day save a life.
