With the current heatwave in full swing, it’s easy to forget the bits that don’t usually get much attention—like your ears when it comes to sun protection. They’re often missed with sunscreen, even though they can be more exposed than we realise and at increased risk of sun damage and skin cancer. Make sure you apply sunscreen to your ears as well!
At Ear Clear Microsuction we don’t just clear the wax—we also take a good look at the ear canal and outer ear (which, let’s be honest, isn’t the easiest place to check yourself!). If we notice any moles or skin changes, we’ll let you know so you can contact your GP or specialist for further opinion or review if needed.
