Does your injector know and understand anatomy to avoid the below complications?
Does your injector know how to manage complications?
Fillers arenât just âfillersâ. Choose an injector who knows what they are doing and can reduce risk and manage complications.
See below, the visual signs of a poorly managed vascular occlusion.
A vascular occlusion of the lips is a rare but serious complication that can occur following dermal filler treatment when filler material inadvertently enters or compresses a blood vessel, reducing or blocking blood flow to the surrounding tissue. It can lead to tissue ischemia and skin necrosis. Prompt recognition and immediate management, including the administration of hyaluronidase.
