🌙 Hello June!!!! Welcome to a brand new month and a brand new wellbeing focus at Tonic Wellbeing. We’re exploring:

💤 Sleep & Recovery

Because whilst stress often gets the headlines, recovery is where is built.

Many employees are running on empty, juggling demanding workloads, family responsibilities, technology, and the pressure to always be “on”. Yet without proper recovery, energy, focus, mood, performance and wellbeing all begin to suffer.

As we often say at Tonic:

💜 We don’t have a stress crisis. We have a recovery crisis.

Throughout June, we’ll be sharing practical tools, evidence-based insights and simple strategies to help people rest, recharge and recover more effectively.

Here’s what’s coming up this month:

✨ Our June Wellbeing Webinar on 17th: Recharge Mode – The Power of Rest, Rhythm & Recovery with X-Hail with Emma Snape, our meditation and breathwork expert. Expect practical insights, reflection, discussion and a live guided breathwork and meditation experience.

✨ New resources, Tonic Topic, Boosts, articles, posters and wellbeing content throughout the month for employees, leaders and organisations.

✨ Our June Meditation: The Power of the Pause – available to all app subscribers and designed to help you slow down, reset and create space for recovery.

Because wellbeing isn’t about pushing harder. It’s about creating the energy, capacity and recovery needed to thrive.

❓ What’s one thing you’ll do this month to prioritise your recovery?

This Sunday is - a reminder that some of the biggest health risks are often the quietest.

Think about it…
Most of us only go to the doctor when something feels wrong. But what if you could know before things take a turn?

High blood pressure is often called the silent killer because it can develop with little or no obvious symptoms, quietly impacting our health over time.

That’s why knowing your numbers matters.
Simple can help detect early warning signs, giving you the chance to take action earlier, protect your long-term health, and prevent future problems before they escalate.

Awareness is powerful.
Prevention starts with noticing.

Are you ready to stay one step ahead of health in your workplace then reach out and ask about our health checks…

Mental Health Awareness Week | Day 2 💚

Awareness matters.

Not because awareness alone changes everything, but because noticing earlier can change outcomes.

One of the evidence-based Five Ways to Wellbeing, developed by the New Economics Foundation over 20 years ago, is “Take Notice.” And honestly, that simple idea still matters just as much today.

Taking notice of:
• your energy
• your mood
• your stress levels
• your sleep
• your habits
• your body
• the signals you’ve been ignoring

Because prevention and support often begin with awareness.

This is one of the reasons we believe our can be so powerful. They are not about judgement or fear. They are about understanding, education, early insight, and giving people the opportunity to tune in before problems escalate.

Sometimes a conversation, a number, a reflection, or a simple check-in can become the moment someone realises: “I need to pay attention to this.”

Mental wellbeing and physical wellbeing are deeply connected, and the earlier we notice changes, the more opportunity we have to respond with compassion &

Awareness is where it starts.
Action is what creates change. 💚

Mental Health Awareness Week (11-17 May 2026)

Mental health isn’t just about how we feel when things become overwhelming.
It’s shaped by the small things we do consistently every single day.

A walk outside.
A conversation with a friend.
A moment to breathe.
Doing something that brings a little joy.

Simple doesn’t mean insignificant.

Becca and her team believe wellbeing is built through small, sustainable actions that support both mind and body over time, not perfection, pressure, or “having it all together.”

So as we begin Mental Health Awareness Week, here’s your gentle reminder:
You don’t have to overhaul your life overnight. Start with one small check-in. One small action. One moment of recovery.

Which one on the list do you need most today? We’d love to hear.

HORMONES, HEALTH & HAPPINESS: SUPPORTING WOMEN AT EVERY LIFE STAGE

20th MAY at 12:30pm

In this 30-minute wellbeing webinar, Becca Clayton our Founder will be joined by Leanne from Maze Counselling Services, and Wendy, Tonic Practitioner and Wendy Miller Coaching founder to explore how hormonal shifts influence our energy, mood, sleep, confidence, and daily functioning, not just in our bodies, but in how we show up at work, at home, and in our relationships.

Our session takes a real-world, non-clinical approach, helping you better understand what’s happening in your body and how to respond with greater awareness and support.

This isn’t about fixing anything. it’s about understanding yourself differently, reducing pressure, and finding small, sustainable ways to feel more balanced, supported, and in control - and in doing so, improving how you connect with those around you, whether that’s at work, at home, or in everyday life.

Don’t miss this chance to gain valuable insights and support. We look forward to seeing you there.

FREE to all subscribers….. every one in our Tonic Wellbeing and Tonic And Me Solo community.

It’s in the app, in the events calendar; and invites are out!

Today’s often called Blue Monday. At Tonic, we prefer to flip it & look for

Those tiny moments that ground us, calm us, or simply make us smile.

Noticing (and sharing) small positive moments helps calm the nervous system and supports emotional regulation, even on tough days.

JOIN US WEDNESDAY 21 JAN AT 12:30PM FOR OUR FIRST WEBINAR OF 2026

Start the year strong with realistic, evidence-based ways to build habits that last, from micro-goals to mindset. In the first Tonic webinar of 2026, Becca Clayton and Wendy Miller will guide attendees through a gentler, more effective approach to habit building - one that fits into real lives, busy schedules, and fluctuating energy levels. For you to get the most out of the session it has been designed to invite reflection, participation and choice, helping you connect the science of habits to your own real lives - in the moment.

By the end of the session, you will:

Understand why habits stick (or don’t) from a brain and behaviour perspective
Identify personal barriers to habit change — without judgement
Practise designing one sustainable habit live during the session
Feel more confident, calmer, and clearer about change in January
We look forward to seeing you there – thank you in advance for being part of the conversation!
