Studio snapshots ✨

This is your sign to disappear to for a few hours. I headed along this afternoon with a friend and it was exactly what I needed.

Just outside Portsoy, Binn View feels like a little pause from the noise. Wood-fired sauna, cold plunge, turmeric shots, fresh air and wide-open Aberdeenshire skies.

A few hours to sweat, plunge, breathe, chat and simply be.

No rushing. No phones. No somewhere else to be. Just time to slow down and let your body exhale.
Sometimes you don’t need a weekend away. You just need a little space to step out of the everyday and come back to yourself.

And this place definitely feels like exactly that.

A little Sunday ritual of mine.

Slow mornings, soft light and |Let It Go|

It’s hard to believe it’s 7 months since I opened the doors to Sage & Sonny Aromatherapy Studio.

With a brain that’s always thinking about what’s next, it’s easy to get swept up in growth + new ideas and forget to stop for a minute to appreciate how far things have already come.

The aim has always been to create a little corner of calm. Somewhere to slow down, switch off, breathe a little deeper and feel looked after. I see this happening in real time at the studio and I’m so proud of the little space that’s been created here on Bridge Street, Banff.

Safe to say, none of it would be what it is without the support, encouragement and loyalty of the beautiful clients who walk through my door. You’ve trusted me with your time, your bodies, your stories and your moments of stillness. I’m forever grateful for that.

7 months in + I’m still so excited for what’s to come.

I’ve been thinking about how personal a treatment really is.

For some, it’s deeper pressure and focused work. For others, it’s slow, gentle touch. Some like to chat throughout, while others prefer complete quiet. Some love being wrapped up warm and cosy, while others prefer to keep things cool.

From the moment you walk through the door, I want you to feel comfortable, soothed and completely at ease. There’s time at the beginning of every treatment to slow down, have a proper chat and talk through your consultation: what you need, how you’re feeling and anything you’d like from your treatment that day. Nothing is rushed.

There really is no right or wrong.
