This month at the yurt is looking a little quieter as I’ll be busy adventuring with (follow along for what we get up to, I’m so excited to be back!) ☀️ 🧘🏼‍♀️ 🛥️

But fear not… there is still our monthly Friday Night Yin on 26th June - a cosy evening of slowing down, stretching out and giving yourself a little well-deserved exhale. ✨

Then from July onwards, we’ve got lots more goodness returning to the calendar, including Fire & Flow Sauna and Yoga weekend 3-5 July 🔥 AND the launch of our brand new Sauna Supper evenings 18th July (and I can’t wait for these!)

If you’ve had your eye on something, now’s the time to book your spot. Summer at the yurt is getting hot! ☀️🌿🔥

🌕 Once in a Blue Moon 🌕

The Full Blue Moon is an invitation to stop waiting.

To stop putting off the thing your heart keeps whispering about. To stop shrinking yourself to fit old stories, familiar routines or the edges of your comfort zone.

There’s a restless energy to this moon. A sense that something is ready to shift. Perhaps you’ve outgrown a version of yourself, a way of thinking, or a path that once felt right but no longer fits.

Growth rarely happens in the places that feel most comfortable. It asks us to stretch. To trust. To take a step before we can see the whole path ahead.

Like standing on a hillside and catching sight of a new horizon, this moon reminds us that there is more available to us than we can currently see. New possibilities. New adventures. New ways of being.

Maybe this is the moment to stop waiting for “one day” and take one small step towards the life that’s calling you.

After all, it’s not every day we get a Blue Moon 🌕

🌱 Assisted Yoga Stretches 🌱

Yoga has always involved gentle adjustments and support where needed, but since training in Ayurvedic Yoga Massage, it’s been such a joy to weave assisted yoga stretches more deeply into my yoga classes too.

My confidence has grown so much in offering more hands-on support (always with permission) and I absolutely love helping people soften further into postures, release tension and experience shapes in a way they perhaps haven’t before.

There is something incredibly powerful about safe, supportive touch. As humans, we are wired for connection, yet many of us go through our days receiving very little nurturing touch at all.

For some people, these assists can be quite emotional. A steady hand, gentle support and the feeling of being held can help the body release in ways that go far beyond stretching muscles. It can feel grounding, reassuring and profoundly restorative.

It’s never about forcing the body deeper - it’s about creating enough safety and support for the body to soften naturally.

Those who’ve been to my Friday Night Yin sessions will know there’s often a little assisted magic involved ✨

And last night, because I can never resist adding little pockets of extra relaxation… everyone also received a mini face massage during savasana 💕

✨ Witchy Woo-Woo Chat ✨

Here’s a little insight into the kinds of “witchy woo-woo” things you might hear me talking about at my retreats, classes, gatherings and on here… 🌙✨

Not because I think life needs to be all crystals, incense and staring dramatically at the moon (although I do love doing that 🌝), but because these things help me feel connected to nature, to myself, to other people and to something deeper than the rush of everyday life.

For me it’s not about perfection or taking it all too seriously. It’s about curiosity, ritual, meaning, joy, nervous system nourishment, belly laughs, barefoot moments, poetry, deep breaths and remembering there’s magic woven into ordinary life if we slow down enough to notice it.

💆🏼‍♀️ More Than Just A Massage 💆🏼‍♀️

A massage is never ‘just’ a massage.

It’s holistic care. It’s self care.
A chance to be held, supported and brought back into yourself again.

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is completely different to anything most people have experienced before. Using deep tissue massage, breath, assisted stretches and rhythmic movement, it works not only into the muscles, but through the whole body and nervous system.

People often say it feels like going deeper than a massage alone ever has, creating space in the body they didn’t even realise they were holding onto. The stretches bring a beautiful sense of openness and freedom, like your body can really breathe again.

It’s space to pause.Space to soften.
Space to hear yourself again underneath all the noise.

Not scrolling. Not rushing.
Just rest.
Just presence.
Just a moment to feel into your body and yourself again.

🌧️ Midweek Minute Meditation 🌧️

This is your midweek invitation to pause. Now I’m getting as fed up as the next person with all these ‘Spring Showers’ but at the yurt at the weekend I took a minute just to listen to the rain, let the rhythm of it soothe me and appreciate what rain does for nature. 🌱 Yes I know rain can be destructive but generally it’s just doing its job to help things grow (and give us water).

So I invite you to take a minute with the rain too. Maybe even imagine yourself dancing barefoot in the rain, uninhibited and free! 💃 🌧️

And breathe for just a minute.
