We are looking to expand our Bank Nursing Team and are seeking an experienced, motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive practice on a flexible, as-needed basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys variety and working within a well-organised primary care setting. Located in Kendal offering excellent access to the Lake District National Park — ideal for those seeking outdoor lifestyle balance alongside clinical work.

The Role 🔎
Flexible bank sessions to support service demand, including holiday and sickness cover and seasonal vaccinations. You will be expected to work independently and confidently across a range of core practice nursing duties.

Core Skills Required: Applicants must be experienced and competent in:
• Childhood Immunisations
• Travel health and immunisations
• Routine injections (e.g. B12, depot)
• Cervical smears
• Wound care and dressings
• Seasonal flu/ Covid vaccinations
• Phlebotomy

Rate - £23.53 per hour inclusive of holiday allowance, depending on experience and responsibilities.

We are looking for a motivated and team-focused locum GP to join our friendly, well-organised practice in the heart of the South Lakes!

About Us 🔎
• Two-site, well-established 17,000 patient dispensing practice
• Training practice with strong clinical development ethos
• Active in minor surgery, dermatology, and ENT services
• Proactive frailty and care home team
• Forward-thinking, quality improvement-focused practice
• Strong and innovative PCN links
• Located in Kendal with excellent access to the Lake District National Park.

Structure 🔎
• 12 x 15 minute appointments plus 1 home visit per session
• Admin time built into sessions
• No duty doctor requirement
• Supported by experienced admin and care navigation teams, and triage GP

Rate - £600–£800 per 2 session day depending on experience and responsibilities. Pension arrangements available where applicable.

The kinds of support that Social Prescribers can connect people to can be grouped into four areas:

🎓education and welfare support, such as employment support, financial advice and fuel poverty support
