Congratulations to MB ChB graduate Suzi Laws, whose Student Selected Component research project has been published in the journal Palliative Care & Social Practice.

Suzi's project explored the impact of The Omega Course - a community course that gives people the opportunity to talk and learn about death and dying in a friendly and safe place.

We don’t often talk about death, even though it’s something we will all face at some point. Grief can be hard to put into words, but sometimes people find meaning in learning how to be there for others at the end of life.

In this interview, Nicole Kidman shares that she has been training as a death doula following the loss of her mother, a role centered on supporting people and families through dying with care and presence.
