Little August Catchup 💕

There has been very little movement this month from me 😂. Plenty of cuddles though, some time with friends and family - but honestly I’ve mainly been sofa based 😂. Ez & Ron have been amazing and we’ve had some lovely quality time - family have also been great taking them out for some more energetic play!

Sometimes life forces you to slow down and it’s definitely been a month of that - no doubt getting me ready to get nap trapped again once baby boy is here!

Growth scan scheduled for today - let’s cross fingers it doesn’t cause too much grief 🫣 Third time lucky 😂

Ill be starting to think about offerings for later on in the year soon as ill start getting restless 😂🤷‍♀️ will be looking for spaces to run yoga and mindfulness as well as 1:1 hypnotherapy sessions and potentially some community events🧘‍♀️

Sending love to everyone I’m missing you all 💕

Ways I’ll be looking after my well-being postpartum:

- daily meditation. This is a MUST for staying aware of my internal state and finding moments of peace, and there are plenty of opportunities when nap trapped!
- daily walks. Maybe not straight away (or when it’s snowing) but strolling around with an audiobook when I had Ezra was really helpful for me
- yoga & Pilates - getting back to physical activity & pelvic floor work which will be no joke after 3 kids!
- time with friends - this time I won’t be turning friends with snacks away, loneliness is a recipe for disaster with a young baby
- introducing a bottle - I breastfed both kids for two years and we struggled with bottles as I was always too worried to introduce them. Not happening again!
- give myself a break - know ill get a lot wrong and will have my hands full with 3 kids but I just need to remind myself I’m a good mom and don’t need to do things the same way everyone else is !
- nutrition - not too worried about my diet and will be cooking family meals still but I need to ensure I have healthy meals for lunch/ when everyone else is out so I don’t skip meals
- make plans to look forward to (enough said)
- nap (never did this with the other two for some reason)
- try not to start any ridiculous projects or move furniture around too much 😂

It’s definitely not my first rodeo and I’m going into this period older and wiser ! For me it’s all about the simple things - not bouncing back but just prioritising what is actually good for me - this could be completely different to what’s good for you by the way!

Any other good ideas welcome ! And feel free to check in with me / offer coffee dates 🙏🏻😻

Hello!

The time has come to move my attention fully over to my family now as we prepare for baby’s arrival 💙

I’ll still be around but just want to focus on the kiddies through the holidays and finally get this home in order 🫣

Thank you for patience throughout pregnancy - I will be back in December with yoga and mindfulness offerings as well as a new focus on 1:1 support & hypnotherapy 💫

People often ask me why I practise mindfulness, and the answer isn't because my life is perfectly calm—it's because life isn't.

Mindfulness hasn't stopped difficult days from happening. It hasn't taken away stress or uncertainty. But it has changed the way I meet those moments.

It's helped me notice when I'm rushing through life instead of living it. It's taught me to respond rather than react, to be kinder to myself, and to appreciate the small moments that are so easy to miss.

For me, happiness isn't about feeling positive all the time. It's about feeling more present. More connected. More grateful for the ordinary moments that make up a life.

As I prepare for one of the biggest changes of my life—becoming a mum for the third time —I'm especially grateful for this practice. I know I won't always get it right, but I do know that mindfulness has given me tools I'll carry into this next chapter.

That's why I teach it. Not because I have all the answers, but because I know how powerful it can be to simply pause, breathe, and come back to the present.

Mindfulness vs Meditation 🧘‍♀️🌿

People often use these words interchangeably, but they're not quite the same.

✨ Mindfulness is a way of paying attention. It's about being fully present with what's happening right now, without judging yourself or trying to change the experience.

✨ Meditation is one way to practise mindfulness. It's a dedicated time where you intentionally train your attention—perhaps by focusing on your breath, your body, or sounds around you.

Think of it like this...

💛 Mindfulness is the skill.
🧘‍♀️ Meditation is the practice that helps you build that skill.

The beauty of mindfulness is that it doesn't end when the meditation finishes. You can practise it while drinking your morning coffee, walking the dog, washing the dishes, or having a conversation with someone you love.

You don't need to sit cross-legged for 30 minutes every day to experience the benefits. Every time you gently bring your attention back to the present moment, you're practising mindfulness.

A little life update... 💛

This month's mindfulness class will be my last one before I head off on maternity leave. It feels like such a special (and emotional!) moment to pause this little community until December while I welcome our newest addition.

If you've been meaning to come along, or if you're one of the lovely regulars, I'd absolutely love to see you before I take a break. As a little thank you and celebration, this final session is just £5.

We'll spend the hour slowing down, practising simple mindfulness and meditation together, and taking a moment to breathe before life gets busy (for all of us!).

Thank you to everyone who's supported these classes over the past months (and been extra helpful helping with cushions and props!) —it's meant so much to me. I can't wait to come back in December, but first... a whole new adventure awaits. 🤍

👋 Hello!

Cute pic of me in Wil’s tshirt because none of my clothes fit 😘

Just a little update to let you know that through July I’ll be covering Pregnancy Yoga on Wednesdays at 6:15pm The Basement Snug Kenilworth 🙏🏻

I absolutely love teaching pregnancy classes, and being pregnant myself makes it feel even more special.

These classes are gentle, mindful and calming, giving us the opportunity to move our bodies safely and intentionally while creating space to slow down, breathe and take a meaningful pause.

It’s also such a lovely chance to connect with other expectant mums and share this journey together. It’s become so lovely checking in with eachother each week 🩷

I’d love to see you there! ✨

And more yoga will be coming late 2026 once baby Kershaw 3 is here and I am recovered 🩷
