I reconnect with what matters.

As a heath and wellbeing practitioner my work brings together kinesiology, EFT, BWRT, Reiki and energy and frequency based therapies to help people feel calmer, more in balance and connected to themselves.

When life becomes overwhelming I come back to these 4 simple practices:

✨ 1. Pause and Breathe
Slow your breathing. Inhale gently through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth. This helps calm your nervous system and brings you back to the present moment.

🌺 2. Ground Yourself
Step outside, if you can, feel your feet on the earth, notice the sky, the trees, the sounds around you. Nature has a beautiful way of bringing us back into balance. If you can’t step outside, be in silence and focus on your feet, feel your feet on the floor.

💚 3. Reconnect to Your Heart
Place your hands over your heart centre, close your eyes and ask yourself:
“What do I need right now?”
Then listen with kindness and compassion.
Sometimes the smallest moments of connection create the biggest shifts.
What helps you reconnect when life feels like a bit much?

🙏 4. Find One Thing to Be Grateful For
It doesn’t have to be something big. A warm cup of tea, a kind word, sunshine on your face, or simply getting through the day. Gratitude helps us reconnect with the good that still exists, even in challenging times.

This is the truth, although there have been times when one session with me has made a massive difference, this isn’t common and lasting change can take time, patience and commitment.

Plus, the small thing you can do to support yourself every day will make a massive different.

We are all stronger than we think 💚

Welcome to my world.

I have joined a Reels challenge to help me step outside my comfort zone and become more visible and to share more of who I am. Hopefully I can inspire others along the way.

When I look back now, my journey has been wonderfully varied. I trained as a hairdresser, making my own clothes as a teenager because I couldn’t find what I wanted in the shops, office work, dreaming of working for an airline, I even joined the Territorial Army, for a short time 😂 Private Benjamin wasn’t a patch on me 🤣. Running a market stall, raising three children, studying, studying and more studying, supporting young people in their journey as careers adviser, coach and mentor. I graduated with a masters degree in history at 52 years old and now running my own health and wellbeing business supporting, children and adults in deep and meaningful ways. I am certainly not the person I was when I started out in life. 🌺💚

It’s been a beautiful, unpredictable, sometimes difficult and an incredibly rich journey, it’s been a hell of a ride 💚

I hope you are all having a wonderful long weekend and enjoying the beautiful weather. It is very hot, I know and I wanted to offer a reminder from the heart. Please don’t forget to drink plenty of good quality structured water. 💦💧

You are made of 90%+ water, every single cell in your body is water based and needs water. So, the kindest thing you can do to support your health and energy, yes energy, is to drink plenty of good quality structured water, especially when it’s hot.

Many clients I see are dehydrated and not getting the water needed into their cells. We can’t possibly heal as well when we are dehydrated and we certainly would struggle with getting the energy we need. Hydration is essential to overall health. It also plays a crucial role in supporting your nervous system and it is also vital for creating electrical signals between nerves. You can also add a little Celtic Salt to your water as this can help replenish electrolytes.

Water is easily absorbed into the cells when it is structured and pure so we benefit so much more. I have noticed a massive difference since drinking structured water, the main difference is that I sleep for about 6 hours before I wake to go to the toilet. Before, I would wake every 2-3 hours to go to the bathroom. This tells me that the water is going into my cells rather than in one end and out the other.

Sip water throughout the day, drinking it slowly will help you absorb it better. Imagine a plant and you just poured a lot of water on your beloved plant, the water would just flood out the bottom and not really benefit the plant. If you carefully and slowly poured water onto your plant it will absorb the water into its roots and love you for it.

Have an amazing rest of your long weekend and enjoy the sunshine whilst staying hydrated with beautiful pure structured water. 💦💧

This is just a little reminder to always check labels, even on products you would never expect.

I was really surprised (and honestly really frustrated) to see that many bread rolls from Marks & Spencer contain milk. For anyone with dairy intolerance, allergies, or sensitivities, this is exactly the kind of thing that can easily get missed when you assume a plain bread roll is alright for you.

Food intolerances don’t just stop at food either, drinks, skincare, cosmetics, supplements and everyday products can all contain ingredients that affect people differently.

Please don’t assume. Always check labels, ask questions and look after yourself. 💚

A lot of symptoms you might be struggling with can come down to an intolerance or sensitivity and can so easily be missed.

It can be so tricky to navigate.

Let’s raise the awareness of ingredients in what we consume and put on our body.
