Hello June and goodbye to the May which felt like July, apart from the arctic air bit which felt like January! 😂 Good old British weather. Never stops keeping us guessing!
My garden has never looked better and the roses have been amazing this year. This is probably my last May in this garden which I created from a patch of grass and not much else. I'm sorry to leave this space, but looking forward to creating a new garden in Barton Seagrave. I'm ready!
In other news, I have a few spaces left in June. I have no moving date yet, so will keep on booking as usual and keep you updated when I have further news. Have a lovely June! 😘

After several years, my client returned for a reshape and refresh. I used hairstrokes to create a slightly fuller look.

It's entirely up to you when you return for your colour boosts. My reminders are just a suggestion of what I think. If you're happy with your eyebrows, then you can return when you choose to in the future.

My fees increase if more time has lapsed between appointments. This is because I need to book in for a longer appointment.

Here's a before, right after and healed multiple DPN removal on very sensitive skin. All of these annoying blemishes were removed from the face in a single session and the skin has healed perfectly.

There are some blemishes I won't remove such as the one circled, as it was not superficial. The DPN sit like tiny seborrheic keratosis on the skin, and cause a slightly dull and raised area with a different texture to the surrounding skin.

The treatment is painless, although there's a slight "pinching" sensation.

Sensitive skin can look alarming after treatment, with a raised bump reaction and erythema, however this isn't uncomfortable and settles within a few hours.

Once healed, I suggest it's worth trying to increase skin turnover by using Salicylic acid or Glycolic acid toner or trying Retinol. This may help keep new DPNs and SKs at bay. Extra sun protection is important, as UV damage is a contributing factor to the growth of many skin blemishes.

I've always thought that eyebrows have personality! They're expressive as well as framing our eyes. Perhaps this is why we miss them so much when they're gone.

Here, one eyebrow grows higher than the other. At the first session powder-brow, I lifted one side slightly, and lowered the other as much as I could without losing my client's individuality.

Symmetry is important, but even more so is eyebrow personality!

I love doing a set of pale lips, redefining shape and restoring lip colour!

Bring your favourite lip colour to your lip appointment as I can colour match this to your cosmetic tattoo colour. Healed lip colour depends on many variables, including how well your skin holds the colour and how the colour is implanted. The colour is built up in thin layers, over more than one session, until the desired effect is achieved.

More about Cosmetic tattoo lip procedures;
Lip-line only; this is especially good for those of us who have quite good lip colour, but the vermillion border has been lost or has become patchy. I usually try to match the lip-line to the lip colour, unless you want a defined lined lips makeup effect.

Lip blush with an "invisible" line; this is for anyone who wants the lips to be defined, but without the line at the vermillion border.

Lip-line and fill/lip blush (shown here); great for anyone who has very pale lip colour and who wants a slightly more defined vermillion border.

Restoring the appearance of eyebrows after hair thinning has always been my favourite eyebrow treatment. I love how the eyes are framed with a carefully shaped eyebrow.

My client came to me for new eyebrows and some blemish removals. As one of the sun-spots was directly below the eyebrow, I did the procedures a week apart.

The second photo shows the results six weeks later at her second session eyebrows top-up.

The two smaller blemishes have gone and healed without trace. The larger sun-spot beneath the eyebrow is much lighter, however can still be seen. A second session could help lighten this further, however my client was happy with the results so no further removal was done.

I cannot guarantee complete removal of many blemishes in one session, and as seen here, complete removal may take more than one treatment in some cases.

New client. Hairstroke eyebrows. I'm happy to offer colour-boosts, reshapes, correction and removal work for new clients who have previously had work done elsewhere.

My new client had originally had microblading done elsewhere several years ago. The shape was good however the colour had faded and her eyebrows needed a refresh. I created an eyebrow hairstroke effect with my digital machine.

Not all skin is suitable for fine hairstrokes and in these cases a powder-brow effect is best, but I do love it when skin behaves perfectly for hairstrokes!

It's another Beauty Classics birthday! So 12 years ago I left teaching and re-trained in beauty therapies, specialising in cosmetic tattooing and a few years later, in blemish removals. It's been a fab 12 years and I've enjoyed every treatment, every appointment and meeting you all.

I’ve also experienced every treatment I offer myself. I've selected what I consider to be the best, with the most successful outcomes, whether it's cosmetic tattooing, blemish removal or facials.

Of course, I can't pretend that my current face is just about my treatments. I've had other interventions too, I'm not going to lie! It's a whole year since my face and neck lift and upper eye blepharoplasty. No regrets by the way.

But its important to me that you feel safe when you come to me and experiencing my own treatments has helped me to have a really good understanding of the process and to be really confident in the procedures I offer. I will take the time you need to talk through any concerns you may have, whether its the treatment itself or the healing process.

Over the years, I've also tried things out which haven't worked so well - remember my experiments with plasma skin tightening for example...?! 😂 so I won't be offering those! Trust is built with results!
