This week is Myopia Awareness Week, with this year’s theme being: "Start Early, Protect Vision for Life!" 👀

The focus is on early detection and prevention in the growing global prevalence of myopia 👁

Myopia (otherwise known as short-sightedness), is a very common eye condition, which usually starts in children from age 6 to 13. It just means that you cannot see objects far away clearly. It can be corrected with glasses or contact lenses.

If you suspect your child is short-sighted, make an appointment and ask us about our range of MiYOSMART lenses, which are great for active children as they are made from high impact polycarbonate which also has UV protection.
