It's holiday season and we get asked a lot if it's safe to fly with the gastric balloon? ✈️

The answer is yes, as you're in a pressurised cabin, flying on a commercial airline has no impact on a gastric balloon. Other activities however like skydiving or scuba diving where your body is under much lower/higher pressure than normal can be different and we may advise to avoid.
