Most people don't struggle because they don't know what to do.

They struggle because they're trying to do it alone.

A lot of people join a gym, buy equipment for home, or promise themselves they'll start on Monday... only to find themselves back at square one a few weeks later.

Why?

Because humans are wired for connection.

We're living in a world where we work from home, shop from home, order food from home and spend more time looking at screens than talking to real people.

Training in a group gives you something that's hard to replicate on your own:

✅ Accountability
✅ Support
✅ Encouragement
✅ Friendly competition
✅ Real human interaction

At some point, training stops feeling like a chore and starts feeling like something you genuinely look forward to.

The workouts matter.

But the people around you matter too.

We’re entering dangerous territory here… 😂☀️

Beer gardens.
Barbecues.
Takeaways.
Beach days.
Random pints because “the weather’s too good not to.”

And look… enjoy all of it.

This is supposed to complement your life, not take away from it.

But don’t throw everything out the window that took you so long to build.

You can enjoy summer AND still look after yourself 👊

Training regularly, eating better, building positive habits… none of that means you can’t have fun.

The goal is balance.

Sometimes there’ll be seasons where you’re more dialled in than others, and that’s normal. Just don’t let one weekend turn into:
“Sure I’ll start again Monday.”

Keep moving.
Keep training.
Keep showing up for yourself.

Enjoy the summer without completely losing yourself in it 🍻☀️

One of the easiest ways to build better habits is to stop trying to completely reinvent your life overnight.

Pair new habits with things you already do 👊

Want to walk more?
Go before or after the gym.

Want to read more?
Leave the book on your pillow and read 10 pages before sleep.

Make the habit easier to start.

Funny thing is… this video is actually me habit stacking in real time 😂

Two things I’ve struggled to stay consistent with:
❄️ Ice baths
📱 Creating content

So I just paired them together.

Sometimes the answer is simpler than we think.

Another week of people proving to themselves they’re capable of more than they think 👊

And the thing I love most about these posts is that the wins are never just about weight loss or lifting heavier weights.

It’s:

people building confidence
showing up when life is stressful
creating better habits
getting back into routine
learning how to look after themselves properly
doing things they genuinely didn’t think they could do a few months ago

That’s the stuff that actually changes people long term.

A lot of people think they need more motivation before starting.

Most of the time, they just need:
✅ the right environment
✅ support
✅ structure
✅ accountability
✅ people around them moving in the same direction

And over time those small wins start stacking up 📈

Just because something worked for someone else doesn’t mean it’s going to work for you.

You can follow the principles…
but if the plan doesn’t suit your lifestyle, schedule, or personality, there’s only so long you’ll stick to it.

That’s why coaching isn’t just about giving people a plan.
It’s about finding an approach that actually works for *you* 👊

Showing up for yourself is honestly half the battle… probably more.

A lot of the time it’s not the session itself that’s hard.
It’s the conversation in your head before it.

I nearly talked myself out of training completely today.
Instead of doing nothing, I just adjusted the plan and done what I could.

And that’s the difference.

Sometimes you don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to start.

Even if that means telling yourself:
“Just go for 10 minutes.”

Because most of the time, once you start moving, you’re glad you showed up 👊

One of the best decisions I ever made was investing in coaching.

Not because I couldn’t do things alone…
but because having guidance, accountability and the right environment changed everything for me.

A lot of people stay stuck for years trying to figure it all out themselves.
