As someone who has lived since the age of 25 with two illnesses; one autoimmune disorder and the other a mitochondrial that both have no cure, I have used complementary therapies to help me deal with a lot of the symptoms so I did not have to rely on too much medication as I don't like taking too much. The fact since time began people have worn jewellery, not for beauty but for healing and protection from the properties found in the stones.
