We are so excited to welcome Kyra to the team 💛

Kyra brings such a lovely depth of knowledge and passion to what she does. Coming from a background as a trained dancer, she understands first hand the impact of pain and injury, which led her to retrain in massage and complementary therapies. After achieving her Level 7 qualification, she continued her journey studying Integrative Healthcare to deepen her understanding of the body and rehabilitation… and you can truly feel that care and knowledge in her treatments ✨

Kyra offers a wide range of therapies including Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy, Bamboo Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Reflexology, Cupping Therapy and Indian Head Massage 💆‍♀️🌿
And there’s even more to come… with sports and remedial massage therapy and sports taping being added once she graduates in the summer 👀

🌷Aromatherapy
~ Aromatherapy has a massive range of health benefits, aiding many areas of life, such as: soothing the mind and body, relaxing tense muscles, boosting the olfactory and circulatory systems, increasing feelings of wellness, and hydrating dry skin- to name a few!

💪🏼Remedial Massage and Sports Therapy
~ This treatment is ideal for avid gym goers, athletes or anyone who experiences recurring pain or injuries which don’t seem to budge! We will focus in on the affected area, working the surrounding muscles, using techniques such as myofascial release and trigger point therapy to relieve pain and tension.

👣Clinical reflexology
~ Differing slightly from relaxing reflexology, this treatment focusses in on only two body systems at a time- using advanced techniques to relieve blocked energy from many areas in the body. It can work to reduce feelings of stress, aid sleep and improve wellbeing.

🏋️Sports Taping
~ Sports taping can work effectively either on its own, or as a brilliant accompaniment to remedial massage and sports therapy. We work with either kinesiology or zinc oxide tape to assist or restrict the movement of joints. This can help injuries to heal more effectively or support your movement if you experience pain either in the gym or during sporting activity.

If you are interested in any of these treatments or want to hear more, please drop me a message and we can come up with a treatment plan for you! These treatments will be free while I am training, however any donations towards products would be greatly appreciated!🌿💚

Deep tissue massage✨

Deep tissue works to target the deep, smaller muscles which sit underneath large, superficial muscles- such as the latissimus dorsi or trapezius- which are often ignored and forgotten about. We use a range of techniques which work to ease tension and increase blood flow into these areas to support healing and range of movement.
Deep tissue massage is ideal if you are an avid gym goer or if you have a particularly physical job which takes a toll on your body over time.
We have space on the 6th and 7th January at The Secret Garden if you would like to book in.
