💙 Celebrating National Volunteers' Week 💙

As we celebrate National Volunteers' Week, we'd like to recognise the incredible team of volunteers who are the heart and soul of the Magpie Centre.

We wish we could name every single person who supports us, but with over 70 amazing volunteers supporting our charity, that would be quite a challenge!

Our volunteers contribute in so many different ways. From supporting riders in sessions, caring for our horses and managing the stables, to maintaining our grounds, clearing fields, organising events, fundraising, baking cakes, collecting donations, serving on committees and taking on countless jobs behind the scenes – every role matters.

The opportunities we provide, the achievements we celebrate, and the difference we make to the lives of our riders would not be possible without your dedication, kindness and commitment.

Whether you're pictured here or volunteering behind the scenes, this week is for you.

Thank you for everything you do. You are truly the reason the Magpie Centre continues to thrive and change lives through the power of horses. 🐴💙

🐴☀️ Last week, Darcie, one of our riders, enjoyed a gorgeous hack out with Jody, one of our centre coaches.

With perfect weather and great company, it was a wonderful opportunity to explore the beautiful countryside surrounding Magpie.

We are incredibly lucky to have access to so many off-road hacking routes, allowing our riders to enjoy safe and peaceful rides while taking in the stunning natural surroundings. From open fields to woodland trails, there's always something special to see – including plenty of local wildlife along the way! 🌳🦌🐦

Moments like these remind us just how fortunate we are to be based in such a beautiful setting and to be able to share it with our riders.

This week, we're celebrating the incredible people who give their time, energy and kindness to support The Magpie Centre West Norfolk .

From our dedicated poo pickers keeping our spaces safe and welcoming, to our session volunteers supporting children and families, our fantastic fundraisers, maintenance volunteers, and those who help make our events such a success - every single volunteer makes a difference.

Your commitment helps us provide opportunities, experiences and support that simply wouldn't be possible otherwise.

To each and every one of our volunteers: thank you for everything you do. Your generosity, passion and hard work help Magpie thrive, and we are so grateful to have you as part of our community.

The Royal Norfolk Show 2026!

We are well into preparations for the 2026 Norfolk Show. You will be able to find us in the equine village on stand 480 on Thursday June 25th!

We will have:
