When the earth asks us to grieve | Sitting with this in my heart at the moment.
Holding what it is to enjoy the summer sun in the UK.
And to feel that there’s something here, something fundamentally shifting in our climate
Sitting with questions like “have we taken too much?” And knowing the answer immediately.

It’s publication day | I’m feeling all the things. Most of all I want to sit and cry. Tears of happiness, tears of joy, tears of sorrow. Tears for my beloved mum who I know will see this. Who wrote this with me.

This Willow Weeps | Tuesday 14th July at 6.30pm with
Tomorrow is special as its publication day.
It’s special because I get to hang out with Ruth.
It’s special because we are going to weave the willow tree (associated with loss), with writing and with grief,
Writing has been a huge part of my grief journey. Ruth and I will be sharing our own experiences of what it is to turn to writing to hold ourselves, to nourish ourselves, as a way of being with grief.
Well then be inviting you into a writing practice.
