๐Ÿค Building connections in our local community

Our Business Development Manager Kelly recently attended the Watford & West Herts Chamber of Commerce - W3RT Chamber Connect event at The Radley Care Home in Borehamwood.

It was a great opportunity to meet local businesses and community organisations, make new connections and learn more about the fantastic work happening across our area.

Building strong local relationships helps us stay connected with the communities we support โ€“ and creates opportunities to work together to support local people and families. ๐Ÿ’œ

Thank you to everyone involved for such a welcoming event.

๐Ÿ’œ Meet Jackie โ€“ one of our lovely carers at 1st Homecare Kings Langley.

When Jackie told us, โ€œI wish Iโ€™d found this job years ago. I absolutely love it,โ€ we thought that was something worth sharing.

For us, great care starts with great people. People who genuinely care about making a difference, enjoy building relationships and want to be part of a supportive team.

And, as Jackie puts it, โ€œItโ€™s like being part of one big family.โ€ ๐Ÿ’œ

Could you see yourself joining us?

Weโ€™re always keen to hear from kind, caring and reliable people interested in care jobs in Kings Langley and the surrounding Hertfordshire area.

No two days in care are quite the same โ€“ but every day is an opportunity to make someoneโ€™s day that little bit better.

๐Ÿก Home isnโ€™t just a place.

For someone living with dementia, familiar surroundings, treasured possessions and everyday routines can provide comfort and reassurance. ๐Ÿงก

Alzheimer's Society highlights how remaining in familiar surroundings can be important for people living with dementia โ€“ and with the right support, staying at home may continue to be an option.

That support can look different for everyone. It might be a little help with everyday tasks, companionship, regular visits from a carer, or live-in care providing greater continuity and reassurance.

Sometimes, needing more support doesnโ€™t have to mean leaving the home you love.

At 1st Homecare, we provide care built around the individual, helping people remain safe, comfortable and as independent as possible in their own homes.
