There was a time when this would have made me recoil, scream and cry hysterically.
I’ve helped hundreds of clients over the years overcome their fear of spiders. One day I realised that I was no longer scared of them! I used the techniques I use to help clients overcome their fears and phobias on myself. And I’ve been confidently releasing spiders back in the garden ever since.

Struggling with panic attacks? The Mindset Clinic supports adults, teens, and children using powerful rapid‑change techniques designed to reduce panic quickly and gently.

Unlike traditional counselling, which often focuses on talking through the issue, our approach works directly with the subconscious mind and nervous system - helping you quickly change the automatic responses that trigger panic in the first place.

✨ Exciting News from The Mindset Clinic ✨

I’m delighted to share that The Mindset Clinic has officially moved!

After a wonderful time at Battlers Green, we’ve now settled into our new home in Kings Langley. Located above the Gym and Kitchen at Inspired. This move marks an exciting new chapter, allowing me to continue supporting you in a calm, comfortable, and welcoming space.

I work using dynamic and rapid change techniques like hypnotherapy and NLP - whether that’s to overcome anxiety, low mood, phobias or trauma, build confidence and self-esteem, change unhelpful habits, or simply to feel more in control.

✨ I also continue to offer online sessions, so you can access support from the comfort of your own home if that suits you better.

If you’re happy to travel a short distance, I’d love to welcome you to the new clinic. And of course, I’m still here for anyone who’s been considering reaching out 🌿

If you’ve been thinking about starting your journey, or you’re ready to continue the work we’ve already begun together, I’d love to welcome you to the new space.

Please feel free to message me if you’d like more details or check out the website in the comments section below.

🌟Thank you to Herts and Barnet Oddfellows for inviting me to give a talk on improving self-confidence at their coffee morning in Watford this week. I was given a wonderfully warm welcome, which is no surprise given that their mission is to bring communities together and provide friendship, care and charitable support. They certainly are a very friendly bunch.✨

✨ “Are you a wizard?” – Best quote of the week! ✨

I hear this quite a lot, and honestly… I understand why.

When a client releases trauma they've been carrying for years, it does feel magical even though it’s actually the power of neuroscience, rapid change techniques like hypnotherapy, NLP, and the mind’s incredible ability to heal.

Just recently, a client let go of a traumatic memory that had been haunting her with nightmares. In the session, she felt the physical shift as her body released it and the relief was instant. Watching that transformation unfold never stops being amazing.

This is why I love what I do.

Helping people move past trauma quickly, gently, and permanently and giving them clear evidence before they even leave the session is truly life‑changing.

If you’re ready to feel lighter, calmer, and free from the past, I’m here to help. 💛

Its always nice to get great feedback.

Here's Emma's result after coming for treatment to overcome her spider phobia. Before the session, she would scream and cry if she saw a spider and if she saw one on TV she would have nightmares of them that night. After the session she could pick them up with her hands and put them outside! Well done Emma!

If you have a fear of spiders, or any type of phobia get in touch today to arrange a time to discuss how I can help you take the step to overcoming your fears.

Last week I had one of those truly memorable moments that reminds me why I do this work.

A client came in committed to quitting smoking and left completely free from ci******es. At the start of the session, they handed me their ci******es and lighters. But the real magic happened at the end…

When I offered them back (as part of my usual testing process), they were physically unable to touch them.

🔥 They felt utterly repulsed at the thought of touching them.
🔥 They instinctively pulled their hand away.
🔥 And they even began to shake, overwhelmed by a powerful, automatic response telling them that smoking no longer had any place in their life.

A powerful demonstration to their mind that smoking was no longer a part of their life.

This is the transformative power of hypnotherapy when someone is ready for change. 💛

A week on and the desire to smoke has completely vanished.

If you’re ready to break free from smoking and ni****ne products (or any unhelpful habit) The Mindset Clinic is here to help you reclaim control and step into a healthier, happier future.

✨ Change your mindset. Change your life.

🌟 Gratitude Post 🌟

I’m absolutely delighted to share that I’ve been recognised for the ninth year running as one of the Top 3 Hypnotherapists in the Watford area for 2025.

💛Running a small business is never easy. It takes courage, resilience, and passion. When I started The Mindset Clinic, I had no idea how many lives I’d be privileged to support, nor how much I’d grow personally and professionally along the way.

The recognition is lovely but what means even more is knowing that the work I do continues to make a difference to the people I help.

🙏 A heartfelt thank you to my wonderful clients, supporters, and peers and a special shout out to all the small business owners who’ve taken the leap to follow their passion. You inspire me every day.

Here’s to continuing to help people shift their mindset and reclaim their calm, one session at a time.
