Following on from out school visit and biscuit decorating, we had another visit from some fluffy friends Colin and Terri and their Guinea Pigs. Most of the residents had a cuddle and stroke. Some really happy faces

This morning our residents and staff were treated to a truly fabulous debut performance from James, the Son of our regular and much loved singing duo, Jasmine Gardiner & Doug. James entertained us by playing the piano for an hour. All the pieces of music he played were all by memory. James has self taught himself by using YouTube videos, a good ear and pure, natural talent. James interacted well with everyone who came to listen to/watch him. EVERYONE was blown away!!! James has been invited back!!!

*Even our Maurice was invited up to play. He played several pieces of music. That also went down a treat and a pleasant surprise too!!! 🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶

We had another visit from Faye (The Entertainment Provider) with her "Bring Me Sunshine" Show. With lots of costume changes and a wonderful voice singing songs from all around the world taking our residents on a tour to all the countries filled with Sunshine. A good time had by all who attended singing and dancing along 🎶🎤🎵🌻🌞

This afternoon, Stella, the music lady, entertained us with her "Music for Health" session. We had a REALLY good turn out and lots of fun. Those who joined in were encouraged to make us much noise as possible with their tambourine, bells and shakers. We wafted our scarfs and pompoms to opera music, conducted the orchestra with our batons, had a musical quiz and a good sing song

This morning we were entertained by Jasmine with her "Jazz & Swing" Show. Those who joined in really enjoyed themselves....

This morning we were entertained by Jasmine with her "Jazz & Swing" Show. Those who joined in really enjoyed themselves. They knew all the songs, if not most, and were happily singing along. A good turn out and a good time had by all. Lots of interaction between Jasmine and our residents.

* Doug is hoping to be back next month, so we will keep our fingers crossed.
