“Can you fade old PMU without laser?” 👀 Yes, you can.

One of the questions I get asked a lot is what can be done with old permanent makeup that you no longer love?

Saline removal is an alternative to laser and can also be used alongside laser as part of a removal or lightening journey, depending on the pigment and the individual case.

I’m quite particular when it comes to working over somebody else’s old PMU. If the existing pigment is too dark, saturated or the shape isn’t something I’m happy to work with, I’d much rather lighten it first than try to camouflage the problem with more pigment.

Sometimes we don’t need complete removal. We simply need to fade the old work enough to give me a cleaner canvas to create something softer and more flattering. ✨

I currently offer saline PMU removal, and I’m also training in laser, which will allow me to offer even more options when deciding on the most appropriate route for old permanent makeup.

This is a C-section scar after just one scar revision treatment, and the improvement has been incredible.

I genuinely want to do more of these treatments because the results I’m seeing deserve to be SHOWN. The problem? Understandably, most of my scar revision clients would rather keep their photos private. ❤️

Scar revision works by creating controlled stimulation within the scar tissue, encouraging the skin’s natural repair and remodelling processes to help improve the appearance, texture and feel of the scar over a course of treatments.

Because respectfully, why are we still spending 15 minutes every morning drawing them on, wiping one off because she’s gone rogue, then desperately trying to make them look like sisters? 😭

Ombré lip liner is taking over my appointment book at the minute… and you can see why! 👄✨

There’s so much flying around social media about overdone, over-saturated and unnatural permanent makeup.

But I beg to differ. 👀

Permanent makeup doesn’t have to look permanent.

These are some of my recent HEALED ombré lip liner results and this is exactly what I want from the treatment. Soft definition, a beautifully blended border and a natural enhancement of what’s already there. 🤌🏼

No harsh solid outline.

25 years living with scars she never thought could change. ❤️

My mum was actually the reason I trained in scar revision in the first place.

After breast reduction surgery on the NHS 25 years ago left her with significant scarring, she’d spent years believing there was nothing that could be done.

Just 2 scar revision treatments later, the difference has been incredible, but more importantly, it’s changed how she feels about her body after all these years. 🥹

And I’m SO glad her experience pushed me to do that training, because since then I’ve been able to help so many of my clients with scars that have affected their confidence for years too. 🤍
