Skincare journey under way…..

Looking after and improving your skin isn’t like waving a magic wand. Especially when you suffer with your skin on a daily basis. Perseverance, regular facials and a good home skincare routine is the start.

Results after a course of 3 frozen facials 2 weeks apart and 1 maintenance facial a month later.

This will be followed by ongoing monthly facials to carry on improving skin texture, getting breakouts under control, reduce pores and general skin health ✨

Our gorgeous girl Scarlett has begun her skincare journey booking a course of 3 frozen facials to give her skin a massive boost, with maintenance facials once a month.

Scarlett is late 30’s and still suffering with hormonal breakouts but conscious of wanting to treat early signs of aging.

With this fantastic facial we can cover all aspects!

Microdermabrasion to rid dead skin cells, help with breakouts and scarring, reduce lines and open pores

Light therapy to stimulate collagen and create and antibacterial effect to aid breakouts

Micro-needling to create a wound healing response to stimulate new collagen production and create a highly rejuvenated skin texture. Our Fgf-10 serum is pumped into the skin while needling. This is full of Hyaluronic acid, Vitamin C and Argen stem cells (our liquid gold for skin rejuvenation!)

Oxygen therapy to plump and contour. Oxygen therapy is also extremely antibacterial which is fantastic for breakouts

Cryogenic oxygen mask - to calm and rest the skin after stimulation

We finish with our beautiful light skin repair moisturiser.

With using cryo-oxygen at the same time as our micro-needling there is absolutely no down time like with standard needling pens your skin is left glowing, fresh & even.

It has become necessary to fully implement a solid cancellation policy that going forward will effect everyone.

Keeping a small business going these days is no easy task. Every late cancellation gives a jolt of panic in your stomach as you know there is no time to fill it. Even with that cancellation, staff still need to be paid, gas & electric still need to be paid, rent still needs to be paid stock still needs to be bought. But that cancellation means….. no income for that hour / couple hours that you have now cancelled.
We absolutely understand things do come up in the form of health, work, childcare etc but unfortunately we still have our livelihood to think about.
Because of this and how bad late cancellations have got we will be implementing a very strict policy that regardless of the reason you have to cancel you will need to adhere to our policy, which is as follows.

We require 48 hours minimum for a cancellation (the more notice you can give us the better)

Cancelling the day before your appointment will incur a 50% charge of your treatment.

Cancelling on the day or not showing up to your appointment will incur a 100% charge of your treatment.

This is regardless of whether you re-make the appointment as the appointment you have cancelled / missed has been a loss of income to us.

No fuss made, a payment link will be sent you your mobile number where you can quickly and easily pay the fee.

Once again, this is absolutely nothing personal we know things do crop up but if you have made an appointment with us you are automatically adhering to this policy.

Our time and appointments are our income, please respect that.

There has been a lot of posts floating about on professional platforms that have been addressing a certain issue that I as a professional nail tech am absolutely here for 🙌🏼

For years now it has been the dine thing to say ‘ ohh I go to so en so for my nails cos she gets them done real quick, I can get them done on my lunch break’ ….. well this is absolutely not something to be happy about.

‘Speed culture’ is ruining this industry.
Good quality TAKES TIME.

A good quality professional service is not going to whizz you out a set of nails in an hour.
If your looking for
Correct prep,
Proper application,
Rebalancing,
A properly built & sculpted apex
a high quality finish and…..
nails that last, this all takes time.
As a professional, rushing your way through a set of nails is NOT going to create quality. Speed over quality is not the way.
Care. Intention. Skill is not what we compromise 🤎

Today marks 10 years since I opened Original Beauty……

Can’t quite believe it!

Making the decision to start this chapter was truly daunting but I am so glad I did.

On this day 10 years ago I had one eye brow wax booked in all day….. by the end of the week my Friday was pretty busy and by the end of the month I was booked up 3 months in advance!
Fast forward 10 years and we have grown to a fabulous team of 4 busy bees! With theee most amazing clients.

We have shared so much along the way… happiness, heartbreak, proposals, babies, bad news, fantastic news, all the cheeky gossip, we have laughed we have cried. I have been there to see those gorgeous teenage girls who came in for their very first brow shape blossom into incredible women getting uni degrees, buying houses and smashing life & careers. Iv got to see my OG ladies become grandmas, and all my other amazing clients who I can truly call friends. You have all supported me through thick & thin and I can never thank you all enough for your incredible support over the years….. and many more to come 🥂

I have truly found my passion in this industry for skincare and I am always truly blessed you put your trust in me to advice you in the right direction for your specific needs.

I will really never believe Original Beauty has come as for as it has and I will always be incredibly humble for this opportunity.

Thank you to my wonderful team for all your hard work over the years and the hubby for always being there to put up a shelf when needed!!
