When you set the bar too high or need to do things a certain way because its βoptimalβ
It often leads to people not doing it at allπ₯΄
Creating a step target of 10,000 steps each day, some days is realistically unachievable π€·π»ββοΈ
But rather than doing nothing, try and do as many as you can. Even if you only hit 5,000 steps - it is better than nothing! ππΌ
As a clinician or coach, it is NOT your job to find the βmost optimalβ programme out there β
Instead, it is to create an entry point that you know they will stick to..
Once they are consistent, start to build on that π
Consistency drives adaptation. Not a perfectly crafted plan ππ»
