Ah s**t ๐
๐... This time every year, I get this idea that I'm a runner (no idea why because I don't like running, am way below average and never do it unless it's in a Crossfit workout)
BUT
This year I am clearly eeextra delusional ๐คฃ
Since becoming a mum, I am craving more energy and head space, and running would be the simplest way for me to get this...so
This year I signed up to run the Yorkshire Three Peaks...
Although I swore last summer to never put a foot on those trails again โฐ๏ธ
I know I can lift heavy weights and hike mountains, but running 24miles is so beyond my comfort zone ๐ฌ (only ever done a 5k before)
Iโve been consistent with my running for the last 6 weeks and the difference already feels huge. My energy is better, the runs are feeling easier, and seeing my fitness improve is so motivating
I did my first 10k + last week and have shaved off 8 minutes of my 5k so far
I am buzzing with this ๐ ๐

Most women start feeling nervous and out of their depth, but are soon doing barbell lifts, pull ups, squatting confidently and surprising themselves with what their bodies are capable of
Not because they suddenly became fearless or super motivated
They just decided to start ๐
