It’s Men’s Health Week and this is your reminder that feeling exhausted, stressed, gaining weight, sleeping badly or “not feeling yourself” isn’t something men should just push through.

Too often, men feel they just need to get on with it.
But low energy, low mood, poor sleep, stubborn weight gain, brain fog, digestive issues, low libido or feeling constantly stressed can all be signs that the body is out of balance.

Hormones matter for men too.
Stress, poor sleep, blood sugar imbalances, environmental toxins, gut health and nutrient deficiencies can all impact testosterone, energy, mood and long-term health.

Your health is not just about surviving the week — it’s about feeling well, strong and resilient.

This Men’s Health Week, check in with yourself (or the men you love). Because prevention and support matter.

Many factors can disrupt hormones, leading to symptoms like fatigue, PMS, painful periods, mood swings, anxiety, weight gain, skin issues, poor sleep, low libido and brain fog.

The cause isn’t always obvious.
Hormones are incredibly sensitive and what’s disrupting yours may look completely different to someone else’s.

Some of the most common hormone disruptors I see include:
👎 Plastics & microplastics
👎 Synthetic fragrances & personal care products
👎 Pesticides and food chemicals
👎 Heavy metals
👎 Mould toxicity
👎 Chronic stress & unresolved trauma
👎 Blood sugar imbalances & processed foods
👎 Poor gut health

Hormones don’t work in isolation, they’re deeply connected to the gut, liver, nervous system and environment around us.

My hormone healing plans are designed to help uncover and address these hidden disruptors, so we can support balance at the root cause and help you feel like yourself again.

Your chopping board could be adding plastic to your dinner.

Every time you slice, chop or dice on a plastic board, tiny plastic particles can break away — and some may end up in your food.

Growing research is linking microplastic exposure to inflammation, hormone disruption and gut health concerns.
One simple swap?

Choose a wooden chopping board and reduce one more source of everyday plastic exposure.

✨ Global Wellness Day ✨
Wellness doesn’t have to mean perfection, expensive routines, or doing everything at once.

Sometimes, wellness looks like:
🌿 going for a walk
💧 drinking more water
🥗 nourishing your body with wholesome foods
😴 prioritising rest
🧘 taking a moment to breathe
☀️ stepping outside for fresh air and sunshine

True wellbeing is often found in the small things we do consistently.

Today is a lovely reminder to check in with yourself and ask: What do I need more of right now?
A little more calm?
A little more movement?
A little more nourishment?
Small steps really do matter 💚

This can sometimes be a sign that the body’s natural drainage and elimination pathways need more support first.

When detoxification is pushed too quickly, without proper preparation, the body may struggle to process and eliminate efficiently.

Instead of feeling better, some people may experience symptoms such as:
⚠️ Headaches
⚠️ Skin breakouts
⚠️ Fatigue
⚠️ Irritability
⚠️ Bloating
⚠️ Feeling generally “off”

This is exactly why I always begin with drainage before detox.
Supporting the colon, liver, lymphatic system and mitochondria first helps create the foundations for the body to process and eliminate more effectively.

Because detox isn’t about forcing the body — it’s about supporting it in the right order, so it can do what it’s designed to do 🧡

Before jumping into any detox protocol, it’s important to make sure the body’s natural drainage and elimination pathways are being supported first. 🌿
Why does this matter?

Because detoxification isn’t just about releasing toxins — it’s also about how well the body can process and eliminate them. If these pathways are sluggish or overwhelmed, some people may feel worse rather than better during a detox process 😬

That’s why, in my Symptoms to Solutions Roadmap to Health, I always begin by supporting the body’s drainage funnel first.

This means working from the foundations upwards — supporting the mitochondria and cells, then the organs and tissues, alongside key elimination pathways including the lymphatic system, liver, bile flow and colon.

When these systems are supported, the body is often in a much better position to process and eliminate efficiently.

It’s about creating the right foundations so your body feels supported every step of the way — helping you detoxify in a safer, gentler and more effective way 🧡

🌿 Reducing your toxic load doesn’t have to mean changing everything overnight.
It’s not about perfection - just small, consistent changes that reduce everyday exposures and support overall wellbeing 💚

Simple places to start:
✅ Choose fragrance-free or natural cleaning products
💧 Use a water filter
🌬 Use an air purifier
🥗 Store food in glass not plastic
🧴 Be mindful of personal care ingredients
🚶‍♀️ Support your body’s natural detox pathways with movement, hydration, fibre, sleep and good gut health

Small changes add up - because feeling better often starts with what we’re exposed to every day ✨

🌍 World Environment Day 🌿

This year’s theme highlights climate change; a reminder that caring for our health and caring for the planet often go hand in hand.
What many people don’t realise is that the environment around us can influence our wellbeing too, from the air we breathe and the food we eat, to the products we use in our homes and on our skin.

The good news? Small choices can make a difference for both our health and the planet 💚

🌱 Eating more seasonal foods
🧺 Supporting local produce
💧 Choosing cleaner products
🥗 Reducing plastics and packaging
This isn’t about perfection - just small, sustainable changes that support both us and the environment.
What’s one small change you’ve made that feels better for both your health and the planet? 🌎✨

A few days ago, I wrote about how our environment influences our health, from air quality, heavy metals, mould and everyday environmental toxins.
But what does it actually mean to “detox”? 🌿

You might be thinking juice cleanses or quick fixes. True detoxification is something your body is doing every day managed by your own built in detoxification system - liver, kidneys, lungs, skin, lymphatic system and gut.

Everyday life with stress, processed foods, alcohol and environmental exposures can overload this system. When your toxic burden gets too high, this may show up as these symptoms:

⚠️ Fatigue
⚠️ Hormone imbalances
⚠️ Brain fog
⚠️ Digestive symptoms
⚠️ Weakened immunity
⚠️ Nervous system dysregulation
These are signals that your body needs support. Real detox isn't about deprivation. It’s about reducing what burdens the body while supporting the systems designed to keep us healthy,

Hello June ☀️

A new month and a fresh opportunity to support your health from the inside out.
This month, I’ll be exploring the connection between toxins, gut health and energy, because how we feel each day is shaped by more than just what we eat.

From toxins and plastics to blood sugar balance, healthy eating and personalised health, I’ll be sharing simple, realistic ways to support wellbeing in everyday life.

This month also shines a light on men’s health awareness and diabetes awareness.
Many of the symptoms we struggle with - fatigue, bloating, brain fog and feeling “not quite yourself” - can be signs that the body needs more support.

The good news? Health doesn’t have to be overwhelming.
Small, consistent habits like nourishing meals, movement, good gut support, better sleep and reducing toxic load where possible, can make a real difference over time.

Remember to reconnect with seasonal foods and lighter meals that nourish and energise.

🧺 What’s in season?
• baby carrots
• broad beans & parsley
• courgettes & summer squash
• berries & rhubarb
This month is about feeling well, one small step at a time.

More nourishment. More energy. More support.
