Do you feel a pull from the past?

There may be a good reason for this. For those of us with a fate line that originates from the Pluto mount, situated beneath the Luna mount, we have reincarnated into this life with unfinished business from the last.

Most of us have a choice about our path.

Those with stronger, defined and straight fate lines that appear the cut the palm in two do not. This appears more on the left hand than the right, and when it does it reveals a way a person thinks about their journey in life, they feel as though they cannot get off the one way train ride that life its.

If found on the right hand though, this actually does show those feelings come to light in a more practical and physical sense.

Those with this are more fated than the rest of us, and are in fact on a single and clear mission. What they is can be better understood by the fingerprints and other areas of the hand.

Some people have a chapter in their life that nearly breaks them.

A period where the money stops flowing the way it did. Where someone says something publicly that damages what they built. Where everything that felt solid starts to shift.

And then, eventually, it stabilises.

The hand already carried that chapter. The early success. The pressure points in the forties. The recovery that follows. The lines of the palm map the energetic pattern your life tends to follow, written there before you were old enough to read them.

If any part of this reading landed for you, your own lines will tell a story just as specific.

How does your lifeline show how you approach life?

The life line develops in the womb at around 13 weeks of gestation. It shows us how we live our lives mostly from the physical perspective, but there is an element of emotional and mental to it also.

1. A life line stemming from Jupiter is rare. It is hard to make out as well because it's easy to misinterpret ambitions lines for it's roots. This creates an ambitious driven and confident individual, that gives them the instinct to rise to power.

2. the very straight lifeline is also not seen often and shows a direct approach, narrowing the Venus mount creating a lack of warmth and affection in nature.

3. the Life line that travels to the Luna mount shows someone who wishes to escape their native soil. They have a restlessness about them and wish to travel.

Many signs in the palms require corroborating with others before accurate conclusions can be made in palmistry.

Look at where your headline begins.

That single detail reveals something significant about how your mind works, how you make decisions, and whether you lead with thought or with impulse.

Here are 3 origins and what they mean.

1. When it begins inside the hand, rising from the Inner Mars mount before touching the life line at all. This is the argumentative mind. Reactive, quick to ignite, lacking the pause between feeling and response that most situations require. The temper here can be explosive. The consideration is often absent. When other signs in the hand confirm this pattern, it describes someone who fights first and reflects later.

2. When it begins attached to the life line, joined for a short period before the two lines separate and go their own way. This is the cautious mind. Careful in early stages, hesitant where hesitation is warranted, but ultimately independent. The separation of the lines marks the point at which caution gives way to conviction. Most people with this formation find their own way eventually. They simply take their time getting there.

3. When it originates well away from the life line, a centimetre or more of clear space between them. This is the mark of the tiger taken to its extreme. (see comments for link to that reel) The radical non-conformist mind operating without a governor. Bold, independent, impulsive, risk-taking and impatient. The thinking here moves faster than the planning. Discipline is the work of a lifetime for this formation.

No single line tells the whole story. Every mark in the hand is confirmed or softened by what surrounds it. A professional reading brings all of it together.

Most people read their heart line the wrong way around!

The origin of the heart line is one of the most revealing details in the entire hand. It tells you how someone loves, what they expect from love, what they are willing to give, and where their moral compass sits when relationships are tested.

There are three distinct starting points.

1. The first begins directly beneath the Saturn mount, at the base of the middle finger. This is the most physically and materially oriented of the three. Love here is possessive, sensory and self-referential. The person with this origin loves intensely but on their own terms. What they want from a relationship is what satisfies them.

2. The second begins in the space between the Jupiter and Saturn mounts, between the index and middle fingers. This is the most balanced of the three origins. It describes someone with a solid moral compass in love: a person who works hard at their relationships, who is capable of real sacrifice, and who does so for the right reasons rather than for recognition or return. This is the heart line of someone who can be relied upon.

3. The third begins on the Jupiter mount itself, beneath the index finger. This is the idealist. Love here is elevated, sometimes to the point of impracticality. The person with this origin will go further for those they love than wisdom would advise. They hold love to a high standard and can suffer when reality falls short of what they believed was possible.

Look at where your heart line begins. The answer is already there.

Know someone with this?

Look at the tip of their thumb. If it is wider than it is long, with a short broad nail and a compressed fleshy pad, they have one of the most misnamed features in palmistry.

Medieval texts called it the Murderer's Thumb.

Old descriptions were stark. People with this thumb were called animalistic, brutish, capable of violence without premeditation. One source described them as dangerous by nature.

Here is what chirology actually says.

The clubbed or potter's thumb, known medically as brachydactyly type D, is caused by an inherited gene that shortens the tip bone of the thumb. It has nothing to do with violence. The vast majority of people who carry it are earthy, sensitive, conscientious, hardworking and loyal. They feel things deeply and they tend to hold those feelings in rather than express them easily.

The medieval reputation comes from the association of thumb tips with willpower. The theory was that a compressed tip blocks the expression of will, building up unexpressed energy that can release unpredictably. There is truth in this. It describes someone who struggles to express what they feel before it builds to a point of overflow. Violence is a very specific outcome of that pattern, and only when confirmed by several other features of the hand.

Like all features in palmistry, this one only tells its full story alongside the rest of the hand. A potter's thumb on a sensitive, fine-skinned hand with long fingers tells a very different story to the same thumb on a hard, coarse, thick-palmed hand with overdeveloped mounts and a Mark of the Tiger. Context is everything.

Save this. It is one of those things you will want to show someone.

The Mystic Cross appears on very few hands. When it does, it comes in three distinct forms and each one tells a completely different story.

1. The first form is the most significant. A clear, well-formed cross sitting between the head line and the heart line, beneath the Saturn mount, with prongs that touch no other lines. When this appears cleanly on the hand it is a sign of an intense longing for a mystical way of life. The person who carries it has the makings of a true seer or occultist of great reputation. Exceptional divinatory ability. A life oriented toward the hidden and the sacred.

2. The second form is found where the prongs of a clearly defined cross make contact with a strong, unbroken fate line. This speaks to church dignitaries and religious leaders of distinction. People who lead a fortunate life through their position in ecclesiastical matters. The cross here is a mark of elevation through faith and institution.

3. The third form is the one to pay attention to with caution. An ill-formed cross with uneven prongs. This is a sign of a leaning toward superstitious practice rather than true divinatory understanding. The mystical instinct is present, without the depth or discernment to direct it well.
