MARQUEE RIGGER (2x Vacancies)
Job Role: Marquee Rigger
Company: Bybrook Furniture & Event Hire, Leicester, LE3 1HR
Salary: Rates of pay above minimum wage – Summer job (start dates in May, June, and July)
Key responsibilities
This is a great summer job for a motivated and reliable person who likes working outdoors. You’ll need a positive and friendly attitude, as you will be working as part of a team.
Candidates need to be fit and active as there can be a lot of heavy lifting and manual handling involved. During busy periods, days can be long with variable finish times. Weekend work may occasionally be required.
You will be helping to:
• Load/unload vehicles, carry equipment to site and build frame marquees.
• Ensure tasks are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain high standards of work and finishing.
• A driving licence is not essential, but you will need to be able to get to/from work each day.
Standard working hours are Mon-Fri (9.00am – 5.00pm), however during busy periods we start at 7.00am and finish times will vary according to workload.

It revealed more than a third (36%) of people with type 2 diabetes, who took part in a dietician-led weight management programme, are in remission two years later. We know this is the most AMAZING Weight Plan, and it really does change lives!

I've had messages and calls this week regarding this and people asking how they can get on it, so I’d like to explain a few things.

This time it isn't The 1:1 Diet being used.
Yes the very original trials - DiRECT at Glasgow & Newcastle Universities and DROPLET at Oxford University were carried out using our products which is what started this.

However, the NHS wanted to roll this out using their own nutritionists and not our consultants which is why we're not taking part in this.

Our consultants are our USP, the support/accountability the consultant provides is a huge part of people's success.
We never just provide products and one of the main results from the DROPLET trial was to show that this could be done in the community with a trained consultant and not necessarily within a healthcare environment.

No it won't be available to everyone, never will be!
There are 3.8 MILLION type 2 diabetics in the UK. The NHS are funding this for 5000 patients, that's an absolute drop in the ocean. They will never be able to afford to pay for everyone to do it, despite the amount of money it saves them in medications, blood glucose monitoring and associated illness from T2 diabetes costs. This just isn't going to happen!

The rest will need to go to the private sector. We are the private sector, and it’s really great at long last to have the validation of what we do 🙂

If you know someone that needs my help, please give them my number. The sooner someone gets rid of their T2 the better for their health, that's without even the additional scary Covid risks for both obesity and diabetes that we have at the moment!
