Inspira Health are delighted to support and raise awareness of heart failure care during Heart Failure Awareness Week with Primary Care Heart Failure (PCHF) clinics taking place in Manchester and Coventry.
Working with NHS Consultant Cardiologists from across England, and with funding from Medtronic, we have been able to review 4,246 patients in primary care clinics and identify 700 patients who have gone on to have either implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD) or cardiac resynchronisation therapy (CRT) devices.
Over 2,000 patients have also benefited from medicines optimisation during the heart failure reviews supporting delivery of the four pillars of heart failure medication in primary care.
