💜💛 Supporting Graham’s 60‑Mile Challenge for Children with Cancer UK 💛💜

This September, Graham, who manages maintenance for the North Yorkshire building where our CSG office is based, is taking on a truly meaningful and personal challenge.

As a proud Grandad to the beautiful Sadie Rose, who sadly lost her life to cancer just before her 3rd birthday, Graham has committed to walking 60 miles throughout September to raise money for Children with Cancer UK.

Sadie’s loss has had a devastating impact on Graham and his family, and this challenge is his way of honouring her memory while helping other children and families facing childhood cancer. It’s something incredibly close to his heart — and to ours as a team.

One of the things that makes CSG special is the way we come together to support one another. We’d love to show Graham just how much the whole CSG team is behind him, cheering him on every step of the way.

💛💜Friday Staff Appreciation💜 💛

Over the last few weekends, our North Yorkshire team has truly gone above and beyond. Despite staffing pressures, everyone pulled together to make sure all clients were covered and cared for, with over 90% of the branch out on care at one point. That level of commitment is something to be incredibly proud of.

Rebecca, our Branch Manager, was genuinely moved by the effort and teamwork shown. She wanted to give a little extra appreciation, so she put together personalised treats and handwritten cards for our carers and seniors a small thank‑you for the huge difference you’ve made.

Thank you for your hard work, your resilience, and your dedication to delivering safe, compassionate care. You are all appreciated more than you know. 💛💜

💜💛 Weather Update from The Care and Support Group – North Yorkshire 💛💜

It was another warm day in Harrogate yesterday, and it looks like the sunshine will be sticking around for the next few days too. With the heat continuing, our focus, as always, is on keeping everyone we support comfortable, safe and well‑looked‑after.

To everyone we care for:
Our carers will be checking in, making sure you’re staying cool, drinking plenty of water, and feeling settled throughout the day. Whether it’s opening windows for a breeze, closing curtains to keep rooms shaded, or simply offering a friendly chat, we’re here to make the warm weather that bit easier.

To our amazing carers:
We know warm days can be tiring, so our team have been reminded to wear cool, comfortable clothing while still remaining professional and of course, always wearing their CSG ID. Even in the heat, you continue to bring kindness, patience and resilience to every visit, and it never goes unnoticed.
