The Knaresborough Business Awards 2025 take place on Saturday 16th August 2025 at Henshaws, Bond End from 6.30pm. Tickets are £55 which includes entry, welcome drinks, BBQ dinner, desserts, wine and entertainment.

What a brilliant day for a surprise visit to Knaresborough by non other than King Charles III. We took a group down to the Castle Yard after lunch and Chris managed to shake his hand!

On Friday 8th May I went to visit Everything Electric North at the Great Yorkshire Showground. 18 Car brands had some of their vehicles on display. I particularly liked the New MGS9 SUV and the New Geely Starray EM-I. There were also some vehicles for visitors to Road Test around a selected test route. Some the Cars that were on display gave chance for visitors to have a look in for example the new Polestar 5 and the Nissan Leaf. A new addition for 2026 Is Robots Live hosted by former Red Dwarf Actor Robert Llewellyn and some Guests as your favorite from BBC’s Robot Wars Live! Battle it out in the ultimate arena showdown. It was one of my favourite day’s out
