☀️ Sun is shining and the weather is sweet yeah! Keep cool and look after you, your family and neighbours by following our advice 💦 🐝

👥Babies, children and older adults are more at risk during warmer weather.

💦 Drink a glass 6-8 times a day - water is great and healthy drinks too!

Visit the NHS website for symptoms of dehydration to look out for and what to do next.

Yesterday, we welcomed children from a local primary school to learn all about life in a GP surgery and the importance of staying healthy. The children explored different bones in the body, discovered some of the equipment we use, practised applying bandages to injured teddy bears, and took part in a range of fun games and activities.
A huge thank you to all the staff who helped make the afternoon such a success. The children had a wonderful time enjoying an afternoon filled with learning, fun, and hands-on experiences. 🏥👩‍⚕️🧑‍⚕️🤕🤧😷🤒

15th – 21st June- Cervical Screening Awareness Week
This week is Cervical Screening Awareness Week 💜
Nearly 1 in 3 people don’t attend their cervical screening, but it’s so important to go when you’re invited. We know it can feel uncomfortable or cause anxiety, and it’s completely normal to feel nervous, but it usually only takes a few minutes and could save your life 🩺

Cervical screening (sometimes called a smear test) checks the cells of your cervix the lower part of the womb. It helps spot any changes early, so they can be monitored or treated before they develop into cancer.
Please make sure you book your appointment when invited 📅
