**Announcement**

The pharmacy is going to be changing ownership with the proposed date of November 1st.

Again you say.....we know!!

What does this mean for you?
- If you receive a message when your prescription is ready, try to collect your prescription as soon as you can and before 31st October.
- If you use the app to order your prescriptions, please note that this service will not be available from the 2nd November
- If the pharmacy organises your prescription, this will continue as a service.
- Hearing check and ear wax removal service will stop on the 9th October, we hope to resume once things settle.
- Other private services will stop on the 30th October, again we hope to resume once things settle, if you are a repeat customer, we will contact you individually to discuss.
- Delivery service - there could be changes to delivery days on the lead up to the change over.
- There will be a few shop items for sale in October, look out for some bargains.

We think we have covered everything but if you have a question just phone or pop in. We will be posting more information as we hear.

The NHS Flu vaccine service is now up and running at the pharmacy. If you would like to book please phone 01549 402374 or you can pop in.

Below is a list of who is eligible, please note there are changes this year. You can ask at the pharmacy if you are unsure.

You are eligible if you are;
- 65 years or over
- 18-64 years with an eligible health condition
- a frontline health and social care worker
- a non-frontline NHS worker
- a household contact of someone with a weakened immune system
- an unpaid or young carer
- a poultry worker or bird handler
- a cattle or swine worker

We have a large polystyrene cool box available with cool packs, if anyone would use this you can collect from the pharmacy.

2-5 year old drop-in flu clinic in the Duthac Centre in Tain tomorrow (Friday, 18 September) between 13:00-14.30.

No need for an appointment, drop-in and help beat flu with a wee scoosh!

We are open today normal hours and there are deliveries as normal too.

With the surgeries being closed, we might be able to help, just phone or pop in to see.

We can help if you have run out of your medication or if you have a minor condition.

How many of you last had a hearing check at school? 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️🙋

Did you know age-related hearing loss can start as early as your 40s?

And most people only seek help when they are in their 70s.

Would you ignore the signs if it was your eyes??

Why not come into the pharmacy for a free hearing check to get a baseline of where your hearing is at now.

Our check is a simple test but if there are any concerns we can refer you to an audiologist for a more in depth hearing test, all still for free.

Did you know we can provide the free NHS travel vaccine service which means the pharmacy team can provide you with advice to help you on your travels and provide both adults and children with the following vaccines to protect you against;

- Hepatitis A
- Diptheria, Tetanus and Polio
- Typhoid
- Cholera
