I think this is one of those “better late than never” posts. As you all know, The Wild Welsh Soap company hasn’t traded this year. What started off as a break turned into an extended break, then the costs of ingredients shot up and honestly for us to turn a profit the prices would have to increase fairly substantially or the alternative was to use cheaper, lower quality ingredients and that isn’t what I wanted for this company. I fully intended to reopen (as you will remember from my previous post) however for now it just isn’t feasible.
Sorry to all our loyal customers who have been patiently waiting for us to reopen the books. I know this news will be disappointing.

However, never say never, the company has now been registered as dormant not dissolved so perhaps when the storm has blown over we will endeavour to reopen with renewed vigour. However in the interim - thank you to everyone who made this journey possible and if/when we reopen I hope to see you all again ❤️

Well that break was certainly longer than expected- and was unintentional! Thank you for all the messages over the last couple of months to see if we’re ok and if we are coming back.

The short answer is YES we will be coming back, however things will be a bit different at the Wild Welsh Soap Co HQ. Mainly with products on offer. We are going away from the 27th May for a week and I hope to get some plans to reopen finalised in that time.

Thank you for your bucket loads of patience with our shenanigans this year and my next post will be announcing our opening date.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who ordered from us this week after our temporary closure announcement. The website is still open at the moment but we will be shutting up shop by the end of today but don’t worry, we will be back! Lots of ideas floating around at the moment so we will be back rested with renewed energy from March 💫. See you then!

Goodbye for now.

Firstly, I want to apologise for our silence over the last month. I've used this time to have a think about what I want and need for the future (work wise and family wise). And I have decided that I need to take a break. I will be shutting the business down for the months of January and February to re-evaluate where we are and to ponder the next steps for the business. Our stock is low but I will leave the website open for the rest of the week and then close the doors from the 9th January - 28th February. I will still be reachable on social media to answer any questions should anyone need to get in touch.

I love the business we've created and I'm super proud of what we've achieved. However I need a mini break to focus on the children, our smallholding and the job job!

I hope you understand and we wish you all well and hope that the 2023 is everything you hope it is.
