Hope grows here with bibic

Every family that comes to bibic has a story. For many, they arrive feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and unsure where to turn. Through our support, expert guidance, and a community that understands, families can find renewed confidence and hope for the future.

Today, we're sharing the story of one family whose lives were transformed through bibic's support. Their journey shows the real difference that your generosity can make.

As charities across the UK face an increasingly challenging fundraising environment, we need your support more than ever. Donations are harder to secure, but the demand for our services continues to grow. Every gift to our Spring Appeal, Hope Grows Here with bibic, helps us continue providing life-changing support to children, young people, and families who need us.

If this family's story inspires you, please consider making a donation today. Together, we can ensure that hope continues to grow for every family who reaches out to bibic.

We’re grateful to keep working with Somerset Parent Carer Forum to bring their WISE workshops to the community, helping families gain valuable skills and support.

The last workshop was inspiring, with lots of great contributions from attendees.

Next is Understanding Sensory Processing

Everyone experiences the world through their senses in their own way. This training session unpacks the sensory system, including proprioception, vestibular, and interoception, and explores how these impact daily life and sleep. Learn to recognise the difference between sensory overload and tantrums, and understand the link between sensory difficulties and anxiety. We’ll also discuss stimming, what it is, why it helps, and when to intervene. Gain practical insights and strategies to recognise and respond to sensory needs, in yourself and the children you support.

Following the Department for Education’s recent video, there has been a lot of conversation across social media this week.
Through all the online noise, bibic is here to support you.

Many neurodivergent learners, and those with additional needs, work incredibly hard every day. But when learning environments do not meet their needs, education can feel overwhelming, exhausting or inaccessible.

As SEND reform continues, the voices of children, young people, adults and families must remain at the centre.
At bibic, we believe opportunity begins with understanding, support and the belief that every person has the potential to thrive.

The demand for our services is endless. More families are reaching out to bibic, families desperate for answers, guidance, and hope.
Right now, too many children and adults are waiting for the specialist support that could change their future. Every delay means another family left feeling alone.

Your donation can help us respond faster, reach more individuals, and make sure no family is left without support when they need it most.

Hope can’t wait.

Our wonderful team members Mia and Natalie completed their 10km run for bibic at the AJ Bell run in Bristol!

Together, they raised an amazing £280 for bibic, not including Gift Aid. 💚

This money will help us continue providing personalised, holistic support for children, young people and adults with additional needs and their families.

A huge thank you to Mia and Natalie and to all those who donated!
