Dear Wild Woman,
Ecstatic Breath gatherings appear regularly on the schedule and we rarely talk about them outside the circles themselves. Let's look at what Ecstatic Breath offers, the journey it takes us on, and why this might be the month you begin a new self-love ritual.
All our bodies - spiritual, mental, emotional and physical - are asking for this space.
Connected breathing helps shift us out of fight-or-flight and into rest-and-repair, where heart rate and blood pressure can settle, alongside many other physiological benefits (you already know them).
It’s a rare space where your body gets to fully stand down. Over three hours you’re guided through a journey to slow, soften, open and receive, culminating in the breath itself; a practice that in its own wisdom reveals what we need on deeper levels.
Healing. Connection. Guidance. Hope. Clarity. Release. Insight. Surrender. Belonging.
Three hours where nobody needs anything from you. Pure self-love and self-care. The recovery your system has been seeking all day, all week, all month.
A chance to drop into your body instead of living in your head, reconnecting with the felt sense of what is actually true for you right now.
We already know the cost of staying wired and disconnected. Ecstatic Breath circles help us put it all down and return to connection.
What you leave with is bodies you’ve reconnected with, and the experience of having shared something powerful within a trusted community.
We know the ripple effect of collective healing is real.
Incredible individual and shared transformations occur regularly at Ecstatic Breath. The growth our breathers experience is consistently nothing short of magic.
THE FLOW
The journey varies slightly from circle to circle and generally follows this flow:
Arrival – soft and social, you land and exhale. The outside world is checked at the door.
Cacao – we share cacao to open our hearts. Warm and unhurried, we sit with this spirit and gently ease into sacred space.
Opening prayer and grounding meditation – another layer of softening, settling and coming home to Self.
I See Me – a self-witnessing practice, offering the chance to meet who you're becoming and view yourself through a loving lens.
Embodied movement – awakening our bodies, energy and blood. Further preparation for receiving the breath more deeply.
1 Hour Conscious Connected Breath – whether you journey into shadow work or ascend into bliss, this healing practice supports profound transformation. Most people leave feeling more alive, more connected, more aware and more themselves.
Drumming and silence – gentle drumming allows the nervous system to rest post-breath, followed by silence. The circle closes softly, bringing you back to your body and the room with tenderness and care.
Shares around the fire – we finish by witnessing ourselves and each other, sharing and carrying nothing alone.
The sky feels beautifully aligned with this journey too. On Friday 18th September the Moon reaches her First Quarter at 9:43pm in the heart of our circle. In Sagittarius she invites us towards expansion, truth, freedom, meaning and the courage to follow what truly calls us. The First Quarter is the moment in the lunar cycle when what began at the New Moon requests movement, commitment, action.
Opposite her the Sun in Virgo brings refinement, discernment and the invitation to release what no longer serves.
Together they invite us to become quiet enough to hear what's true, clear enough to know what matters, and brave enough to move towards it.
Five days later the Equinox turns the year towards Autumn, the balance point where light and dark hold equal weight.
A threshold. A turning. An opportunity to put something down, gather yourself, and make your moves before the season changes.
