People are often surprised to hear that we don’t cancel Slimming World groups around holidays… yesterday we ran groups as normal and on my birthday. I had, “really?” Or “why don’t you take your birthday off?” …

The simple answer is, spending time with my beautiful groups on my birthday was the perfect start to the day… and more than that- holiday time is when members can struggle MOST! Instead, members came and got help from likeminded people, made plans and left motivated for their week ahead!

Heather joined me when I opened our Saturday group over 11 years ago- her motivation then was her eldest son’s wedding and she got to target looking equally as fab!

She is the epitome of consistency- she has nailed and locked in that mindset for those long term and lasting changes.

😍Another year that has gone in the blink of an eye! Today is my Slimming World birthday … celebrating 11 amazing years as a consultant … 11 years where I’ve had the honour and privilege of helping and supporting people week in, week out to achieve their dreams. 😍

🥰Slimming World is not just about losing weight … it’s about so much more and it’s about losing the emotional baggage that comes with carrying excess weight. I see people come in through my doors broken, zero confidence, lonely and with so much self loathing. As they lose pounds they begin to gain self belief, confidence, friendships and most importantly begin to love themselves for the amazing person that I saw on day one. 🥰
