What a wonderful time we had today! Thanks to everyone who came and joined us, it was wonderful to meet so many new people and welcome you to the woods.

All groups start back this week and have spaces available so do head over to my booking site and get your places. Block bookings get you last year’s prices and payment can be split monthly or weekly so it’s affordable to all.

For all my regular weekly sessions. Bookings are open with block bookings available at last year's prices.

All my sessions are very relaxed, low demand environments where children and young people have autonomy to set their own goals, pick their own activities, explore, discover, socialise or not.

****BOOKINGS ARE OPEN!****

I have (finally) got my booking site ready for the new term which starts on Monday. So get yourselves on there and bag your spaces.

You will find a new block booking feature! This means you can book the next half term at last years prices which saves you at least the cost of 1 whole session. I have always avoided block booking because it penalises those who can’t afford to pay a whole term up front BUT the wonderful people at Oakline listened and have added monthly and weekly pay options for the block bookings. So now they’re accessible to all!

I still need to update my posters so can’t share yet but the line up is:

Nature Explorers, accompanied home Ed 4-12yr olds, Monday 11-2

Nature Tots (including child minders), accompanied toddlers and pre schoolers, Tuesday 10.30-12.

Embraced by Nature, bumps and babies under 1, Tuesday 1-3

Nature Crew, after school group, Tuesdays 3.45-5.

Nature Seekers, drop off home ed 8+, Wednesdays 11-2

Nature Ed-Venturers, drop off home ed 12+, Fridays 10-1.

All sessions are at Pennygillam Community Woodland, Pennygillam Industrial Estate, Launceston.

Hi everyone. I am on my last day of a family holiday, somehow it’s September, and I’ve done the ADHD thing of leaving everything to the last minute. Sorry!

Tomorrow I will get my booking site up to date so you can sign up for sessions starting next week. There will be some changes to the schedule and the pricing. I have always kept my prices so low that I often work for below minimum wage. This is no longer sustainable for me so whilst I acknowledge that we are all struggling with cost of living, I hope you can understand why I have to do this.

The new schedule will be:

Monday 11-2 - Nature Explorers, home ed 4-12 year old with their grown ups.

Tuesday 10.30-12 - Nature Tots/Nature Minded merged group. Toddlers/pre schoolers with their grown ups

Tuesday 1-3 - Embraced by Nature, bumps and babies under 1

Tuesdays 3.45-5 - Nature Crew after school session (this session will pause for the winter once the clocks go back)

Wednesdays 11-2 - Nature Seekers, home ed drop off group ages 8+

Fridays 10-1 - Nature Ed-Venturers, home ed drop off group ages 12+

We had the excitement of watching Sam with his extending chainsaw this morning cutting dead limbs from trees to help keep us safe at the forest school site. We then got to have fun being creative with some of the wood that we now have!

Wonderful to be in the woods with you today. Thanks everyone from the Families in Nature fun morning and OUT in Nature this afternoon.

OUT in Nature is on this Saturday! For any family where at least 1 person identifies as LGBTQIA+. This session will include a water fight so bring a change of clothes or swimwear if (like me!) you have sensory issues around wet clothes.

I know, I know, it’s the wrong Saturday of the month but it’s the summer holidays so all schedules have gone out the window.

Join me for this FREE session for families with children of all ages. Get them off their screens for a couple of hours 10-12 and come have fun in the woods.
