Today is World Su***de Prevention Day.

It’s a day to think about how we can look out for each other, start conversations and make sure people know they’re not alone.

Sometimes, simply knowing what to say, how to listen and where to find help can make a real difference.

Healthy Cornwall offers free mental health and su***de prevention training for anyone who lives or works in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Training includes Mental Health First Aid, Su***de First Aid and ASIST.

If you complete at least three hours of quality-assured su***de prevention training, you can also join the Orange Button Community Scheme, showing others that you’re trained to listen and help them find support.
