Brazilian Culture & Arts Community are looking for dancers to work with renowned dance artist Rosangela Silvestre as part of the collaborative community arts event, Brazilian Cultural Week, in Leamington Spa - June 2019.

Rosangela Silvestre will work with a small group of dancers over 4 half days to create a dance performance which will be showcased as part of the Brazilian Cultural Week event at the end of the festival on Sunday 9th June at The Bandstand Pump Room Gardens - Leamingtom Spa.

Students and community members are encouraged to come dance, learn, and participate in this special project with world-renowned choreographer, teacher, and creator of the Silvestre Technique, Rosangela Silvestre. The centerpiece of this performance will be our point of inspiration, and each of the artists will project their expression with their unique artistic voice; and together, we will all discover how the combination of our voices makes one voice: The Voice of the revelation of the Divine expression in all of us.

Rosangela will create a piece based on her solo performance "Faces of Nature”, creating a performance that symbolizes the magical and sacred center of Divine revelation.

Rosangela will be dancing solo works in the performance, as well as giving artistic direction to the show and choreographing a new work for the students to perform using a collaborative approach. Our direction will be connected with the foundation of Brazilian Culture, but will also engage with each of the other cultures present, that bring their own foundations and artistic expressions to contribute. Together, we will create the form of the archetype, explore the symbols that describe our roots, and bring out the manifestation of our art.

This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or dancers in training who are looking to develop their skills and experience.

Key Dates are as followed:

Rehearsals - 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th June
Location: Leamington Spa

Performance: Sunday 9th June
Location: The Bandstand Pump Room Gardens

Please note you will be required to attend all rehearsals as well as be available for a technical rehearsal on the performance day.

Brazilian Culture & Arts Community - BCAC UK - Presents the first BRAZILIAN DAY FESTIVAL ON 9th JUNE 2019 in Leamington Spa!!

I invite all of the Brazilian community to participate in this event.
All help will be welcome for the Brazilian Day Festival that will take place on June 09, 2019 at the Pump Rooms Garden, Leamington Spa.

The event is aimed at all of the public there is free admission.
We will have several bands playing live music throughout the day with dance and other workshops and activities.
There will be authentic Brazilian products being sold, professionals that will spread their own works, Brazilian food and much, much more ....

In addition, of course, there will be Dance performances, Capoeira, Samba, Percussion and many other performers to keep you entertained.

I am looking for volunteers to form a team which will help in the organising and publicising of the event.

Anyone interested in selling Brazilian food or showcasing their work at the event should contact me in advance, since a licence is required from all public agencies.

Presents - BRAZIL FEST 2019

Convido toda a comunidade brasileira para participar de 3 eventos, que acontecerão aqui na região. Todo tipo de ajuda será bem vinda para o BrazilFest, que acontecerá no dia 09 de Junho de 2019, no Pump Rooms Garden, Leamington Spa.
Evento voltado a todo público com entrada franca.
Teremos seis bandas tocando ao vivo durante todo o dia, workshops de danças e outras atividades, arquibancadas, onde se venderão produtos brasileiros, profissionais que divulgarão seus próprios trabalhos, comida brasileira e muito, muito mais....
Além, é claro, das apresentações de dança, Capoeira, quadrilha, samba, percussão e muitas outras.
Voluntários para formar uma equipe, que ajudará na organização e divulgação, são bem vindos.
Interessados em vender comida brasileira deverão entrar em contato previamente, uma vez que se faz necessária uma licença junto aos órgãos públicos.

Todas as mães são um pedaço de céu na Terra, pois a elas foi transmitido o dom divino de gerar vida. Mas a grandeza de cada mãe não está simplesmente em dar vida, mas na forma como ama essa vida.

Assim, neste dia de homenagem a todas as Mães, eu quero desejar um dia abençoado a todas aquelas que amam incondicionalmente seus filhos!

Este dia é de todas as mães guerreiras que diariamente lutam pela felicidade dos seus filhos. Que se sacrificam em silêncio, que choram sem lágrimas e sorriem com o olhar.

Mas a todas essas mães não pertence apenas este dia, mas delas são todos os dias das nossas vidas. Pois quem tem uma mãe assim sabe dar valor, sente orgulho e presta homenagem diariamente.
