❓Q: What's the difference between Class 2 and Class 3 mobility scooters?❓

✅A: All mobility scooters sold and used in the UK fall into one of two categories: Class 2 or Class 3.

Class 2 mobility scooters have a maximum speed of 4mph or less and can be ridden on pavements, pedestrian areas, and cycle tracks.

Class 3 mobility scooters have a maximum speed of 8mph and can also be ridden on pavements, pedestrian areas, and cycle tracks.

However, they are also road legal, unlike Class 2 scooters.
