This is my lovely supervisor, Jill. ❤️
If you’ve been around the counselling world for a while, there’s a good chance you’ll have come across Jill’s work. She is knowledgeable, honest, supportive, and one of those people who isn’t afraid to say things as they are while still being incredibly compassionate.
Jill doesn’t often have supervision spaces available, so if you’re a counsellor looking for a supervisor and you’ve been thinking about reaching out, now might be a good time to do it.
Finding the right supervisor can make such a difference to your confidence, development, and wellbeing as a practitioner, and I feel very fortunate to have Jill in my corner.
You can find details in her post below.
Just shouting out about this database. Actually Autistic (themselves) Therapists. UK.
I list this database anyway but thought I'd highlight it here. Link in comments.
As usual, do your own research. Be fussy. Try them out (some offer a free introduction).
Whilst I'm here 😂. I am taking on 2 or 3 new Supervisees. Get in touch if interested. Link also in comments.
I am always honest with Clients and Supervisees, that I take regular time off. I may also need to take a couple of weeks off short notice at some point. It can't be helped but pre-warning everyone feels important.
Anyhoodle, hope everyone is coping with the UK heatwave. Heat dysregulates me, I'm bearing up!

Pic description. Me today, I'm sat on a bench, smiling, wearing a red flower dress, arms folded. Behind me is green grass and bushes.
