Homemade Chicken Kievs at Seacroft Green Care Home

Residents got stuck in chopping, mixing and preparing their own delicious chicken Kievs from scratch. Plenty of teamwork, laughter and lovely familiar cooking skills... they tasted amazing! 😋💛

What a way to finish our Caribbean Day... with a 'Bashment party!' 🥳

The brilliant Reggie brought the reggae vibes to Seacroft Green and soon had residents, colleagues and visitors singing, dancing, shaking the maracas and waving those ribbons!

The smiles say it all… an absolutely brilliant ending to one very special day! 🥰🌴

🌶 Jamaican Dinner at Seacroft Green Care Home 🌶

What a feast! A huge thank you to the very talented Tony from Dutch Pot (160 Chapeltown Road), for our absolutely delicious Jamaican dinner! Jerk chicken, rice & peas, curry chicken, mutton, dumplings and lovely side dishes prepared by our kitchen team… residents certainly tucked in! 🤤🔥

The feast was also enjoyed by Reggie after his amazing reggae music set (photos coming soon). 🥰

🏝️🎉 CARNIVAL PARADE & SEACROFT VILLAGE HALL! 🎉🌴

Residents and colleagues took our Caribbean Carnival around the Green, with a dancing stop outside The Cricketers Arms for a dance, before our pitstop - receiving such a warm welcome at Seacroft Village Hall!

Such a colourful, vibrant and fun morning with plenty of smiles, music and carnival spirit!

Thank you to everyone who came out to join us and cheer us along! 🥰

A care home in Leeds has brought its local community together while raising money for charitable organisations.

As our Dementia Care Coach, Sam goes above and beyond to champion excellent dementia care, delivering engaging and meaningful dementia sessions for both colleagues and relatives, helping to build understanding, confidence and compassion.

Sam is ingenious, hardworking and an exceptional team player, always finding creative solutions and willingly supporting others to ensure the best outcomes for our residents.

What truly sets Sam apart is her resident-first approach. She takes the time to understand each resident as an individual and thoughtfully considers their needs, interests and abilities when planning activities, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to engage, feel valued and enjoy meaningful moments.

Sam’s dedication, creativity and genuine passion for our residents make her a very deserving GEM of the Month for July.

🥳 RIO’S 1ST BIRTHDAY PAWTY! AT Seacroft Green Care Home 🎈

What an absolutely gorgeous afternoon celebrating Rio turning ONE! We had our very own mini Crufts-style dog show, with some very special visitors joining the celebrations! Little Henry, a 6-month-old King Charles puppy, completely stole everyone’s hearts and beautiful Luna. 🥰

No doggy birthday would be complete without some doggy cakes, treats and doggy bags filled with different treats and toys to take home. A huge thank you to everyone who brought Rio presents and birthday cards and came along to celebrate his very special day with us!
Rio has been very spoiled and very loved! Just as he should be. 🥰
