Piercing By Lio is a successful piercing studio in Leeds city centre looking to expand our business, and so we are looking for more piercers to work at the studio.
Job description:
We are looking for someone who is experienced in all piercing types and could work 5 days a week, mostly unsupervised.
The employee will also be expected to greet customers in a warm and welcoming manner, provide guidance on jewellery selection and make sure the customer does not come into contact with any materials they are allergic to.
The employee will be required to wear all the correct PPE which will be provided, for example, disposable latex gloves and disposable aprons.
The employee will be expected to provide customers with the consent form before the procedure, carry out the procedure accurately and effectively, provide an aftercare form related to the procedure site and type.
The employee will be expected to keep a live record of all equipment and stock using the excel spreadsheet provided (training is provided if necessary) as this is due to make sure the owner is able to order in all the stock the studio requires once a certain threshold is reached.
Payments are not to be collected by the employee, and so the costumes are to be directed to pay at the reception for their piercings prior to the procedure.
The employee will be given complete access to our social media platforms and will be encouraged to participate in the marketing of the studio, which is beneficial for both the business and the employee as wages are based on a percentage at the end of the month sales.
The employee will also be expected to take photographs of all piercings done and send them through to the owner to be used as marketing material.
The employee will be expected to clean all equipment after use thoroughly, dispose of all waste correctly into the corresponding bins (provided) and will also be expected to carry out a deep clean of the piercing room and all it contains.
Qualifications:
There are no qualifications required however good customer service skills are required, as well as the candidate must be clean, punctual and reliable at all times.
2 years of experience in the field is preferred however 1 year is considered depending on skill level.
